Once there was a boy and a girl called Timmy and Alice, they lived in a little house with their Mum.
One day a man came and knocked on the door. Timmy and Alice rushed to the door and opened it. Standing there was a man in a grey suit, mask and a big bushy beard. Timmy and Alice looked at each other.
"Hi I need you to help me, my children are
stuck in a temple." said the man. "We can
help you get your children out of the
temple, we are explorers." said Timmy and
Alice.

After a long walk, a temple appeared in the distance. They looked at the entrance and gasped. They had never seen something as big before in their life. Taking a deep breath, they both walked through the sandy opening and had a look around. They could see mosaic designs on the floor and a big spiralled piece of artwork on the wall. As Timmy started to walk even further into the temple, he was stopped by Alice. "Be careful where you are walking." she said, with a serious look on her face.

In front of both of them, were three large skulls. "See, now what did I tell you?" said Alice. Feeling confident she started to tip-toe in between each skull. As she was just passing the second skull she heard a ticking noise. "STOP!" she shouted. "What's the matter now?" Timmy replied. "I can hear something." she explained.
Timmy cupped his ear, to try to listen to the noise.

"I can hear it too!" he said. As Alice took one more step, the noise got louder. "I think we should go back." she exclaimed. "We can't, that man has lost his children! You wouldn't like it if we lost our dog!" said Timmy. He was right thought Alice and carefully continued to carry on her tip-toeing. As the noise got louder and louder, she could see a black ball on the floor. Getting closer, she realised that it was a bomb!

Alice gulped! "What now?" moaned her brother. "It's a bomb!" she shouted. "Are you sure?" asked Timmy. Alice replied with a simple "yes."
"It just so happens that I was reading an explorer's guide to solving puzzles the other day and it said about how to stop a bomb from exploding!" Timmy said confidently.
"But you never read." Alice thought to herself. But she took Timmy's word and let him tinker with it. After what seemed like a tense couple of hours, the noise wore off and the bomb was defused.

All of a sudden, a magical thing happened! A massive pile of treasure appeared in front of their eyes. It sparkled in the sun. They both high-fived and said "well done!" to each other. Timmy and Alice picked up the treasure and started to walk out of the temple. As they did so, it dawned on Alice that they hadn't rescued the children!

Leaving the treasure where it was, they ran back inside the temple and dodged all of the skulls again. They then found themselves in another room that wasn't as colourful and grand. It was quite dark. It was hard to see what they were doing, so Timmy grabbed a match from his pocket and struck it across the floor. It created a glow so they could see what they were doing. They looked around but all they could see was a tall pile of stones.
