Once upon a time there lived a girl named Cinderella. You might have heard her story from her perspective, but her psychologist tells a slightly different version..
2
When Cindy lost both of her parents in a tragic car accident she was put into a foster home. She was so lonely she began talking to animals and was in a delusion that she was a princess waiting for her prince charming.

3

She lived with her step-mother and two step sisters. She was always hated but seemed to keep a positive smile with her friends always by her side.

4

However, Cinderella's perception of reality is just partially skewed. Instead of living in a castle, she lives in a white washed ward. Instead of living with her step mother and step sisters, those are her fellow patients.

Cindy left her room to go to lunch. There she met her so called step-mother.
"Hi Schizo-rella!" snarled Helene (aka step-mom), "How has your day been beautiful?" she asked with a smile.
"Um.. good? Are you okay mom? You seem a little... crazy." asked Cindy.
"I'm fine, who are you calling mom?!" she barked back.
Cindy wasn't quite sure why her step-mother had mixed feelings toward her. Cindy went to see Anastasia to ask for advice.

"Hi Drizella, where is Anastasia?" asked Cindy.
"Who is Anastasia? Are you having one of your episodes again? God, you're such a freak!" yelled Drizella.

8

Cindy ran back to her room crying.
"Why is everyone being mean to me, Gus?" Cindy asked.
"Because you're sick and they are too."
"How am I sick?"

9

"Gus?"
"You have schizophrenia, Cindy."
"Have you seen a little gray mouse? His name is Gus?" Cindy asked.
"Cindy, there is no little gray mouse. I am doctor Gus. I am your behaviorist."

10

"You talk to animals and believe you are a princess." Doctor Gus explained.
"But, Gus the mouse introduced me to the fairy godmother and she helped me find a dress for the ball!" Cindy yelled.
