“ Milah?” My mother said in a worried voice I let go of my grasp of breath as all my fear lifted off my shoulders”Mom!” I said springing from the ground, my mom gasped as she ran toward me. “Oh, my milah” she said as she held me in her warm arms, then she suddenly let go. Her face got sharp “where have you been all these years?!, I've been worried sick!” She said. my face turned confused “years? Mom, hasn't it only been a day?” I questioned, After that my mother didn't speak to me for the rest of the day she had looked at me like I was crazy, Until I couldn't take it anymore.
I came up to her while she was folding her laundry, “Mom, tell me what you meant by years.”I said sternly. She took a look at me and opened her mouth yet she didn't say a word, she quickly walked to the kitchen counter and picked up a piece of paper she showed it to me and said “you've been gone for 9 years. Almost a decade. You don't know how worried I was about you. I looked for you I couldn't find you." At that point I was wondering if my mom was hungry or not because she was FULL of balony because if she was looking for me of NINE YEARS she probably would have found me by now.
