Behind a tiny little village there was a big forest, covered in so many trees. More than you could imagine. A bear cave sat right behind beautiful tree blossoms. The chief’s daughter, Aiyana loved to see the bear cave and especially the tree blossoms. She loved them because her name meant Eternal Blossom in Native American. But today she heard a funny noise and noticed some of the trees were gone.

KABOOM!

“How many have you cut down?” one asked.

“ About 50” Bolted another

“50!” Aiyana whispered to herself.

50 of the beautiful trees of her land were cut down. She couldn’t believe it.

GRRRRRR!!!!

“What was that noise” She said.

“It's me, turn around and i’ll show you something.”She quickly turned around and standing right in front of her was a bear.

“Come and follow me right into my cave” the bear said.

Aiyana was trembling with fear, she didn’t know what the bear was going to show her.

She entered the bear cave, and she wasn’t expecting what she had just seen. She was in a room with beautiful furniture and paintings. But sitting on one of the chairs was a fairly old woman, and she didn’t look quite happy.

What happened to the trees of my beautiful land?” the woman said.

“ Those awful men are ruining my land, and now i’m going to something back” the woman scowled.

“Well what are you going to do?” Aiyana asked.

“You just wait and see” the woman said with an evil look on her face.

Aiyana closed her eyes and imagined the beautiful trees that used to be all over her land.Then Aiyana appeared right back in her homeland. The Earth was shaking, and so was she. She didn’t know what was happening, and then she realized what the woman said.

“How do I stop this earthquake?” she wondered.

Then she remembered what caused this to happen. All the trees were cut down. So she tried finding the men who cut down the trees, she could try to stop them. Aiyana tried to run as fast as she could. She was really scared considering that she was running in an earthquake. She searched all over the village and finally found the men.

“Hey, are you the men who were cutting down all the trees of my land?” she scowled.

“Yes, what do you want from us?” the older one said.

“I want you to stop cutting down trees, you are ruining the beautiful land.” she said

“What if we don’t?” he said

“Then mother nature will still put her revenge on this land, that is why we are in an earthquake.” she said almost in tears.

“Ok, but this is the only time I am listening to you, now go away!” he yelled
