Little Sam Dog just wanted to go out and explore the world. It looked so exciting to him.

But Sam Dog would always get so stressed out. Going anywhere new, trying something different, anything outside his comfort zone would stress Sam Dog out.

Sometimes the stress will be to much and Sam Dog will run and hide if anyone new comes by the house. He loves to hide in the corners-any corner will do too.

Then one day Sam Dog was told he had to go for a ride with his friend Matt. Sam Dog tried to hide in his safe corner, but Matt got to him. Sam was so scared and the stress took over and he started to shake-his whole body was shaking hard.

Matt took Sam Dog and put him in the truck. Sam hid under the seat. He is still shaking from all the stress of this ride. He didn't know what to do. He just wanted out, out, out!!

Sam Dog was crying and shaking when the truck finally stopped. His friend Matt got out of the truck and walked to Sam Dog's side. Sam was so scared and stressed out, he just didn't know what to do.

Matt opened the door of the truck and because Sam Dog was so stressed out that the minute the door opened he jumped out and ran for his safe corner. He ran and ran and ran. He ran some more and then some more after that.

Sam Dog had no idea that his friend Matt had taken them to the beach for a day of fun and laughter and relaxation. Sam was so stressed that everything was happening that he just ran and ran and ran. Trying so hard to find his safe corner.

Sam Dog ran for so long that the day turned into night. He was so scared and so lonely and so stressed out! And he just could not find his home and his safe corner. He was crying, in the dark and was lost, lost, lost.

Sam Dog found a park to hide in. He went and hid under the slide. He was so scared. He was almost asleep when all of a sudden he heard a noise coming form a bush by the slide. Sam Dog froze from all the stress and fright.
