Once upon a time there lived two brave 

parrots called Sambuca and Beaker they 

both lived in their luxurious, spacious 

homes. Their homes were set in a 

mysterious jungle, where everyday was just a 

normal day down at Mystejungle. 

Sambuca and Beaker hadn't always seen 

eye to eye, being the two eldest brothers in 

a family of eight. The reason for them not 

getting along with each other was all down 

to their different personalities. 

This is Sambuca being 

feisty and looking after 

himself.

Sambuca was very feisty, outgoing and 

could always look after himself, being the 

elder of the two.  

This is Beaker 

getting on with his 

older brother 

Sambuca, when they 

get on.

Whereas Beaker seemed to act very calm, 

soft and if there was any chance of a nap he 

would be fast asleep before you knew it. 

It was on this fine Sunday morning that 

their personalities came to life. Sambuca 

and Beaker didn't know that there was a 

giant, hungry snake lurking around the 

unsteady tree where the Celestial family all 

lived.

Sambuca woke up as he heard the snake 

hissing. He looked round at his family, 

who were all fast asleep. He knew that he 

needed to get him and his family off this 

tree before the snake got up, or one of his 

relatives fell off and they were the snake's 

breakfast.

Sambuca thought and thought for a while to 

think of a plan. He then decided to wake his 

little brother Beaker up, he gave him a peck. 

Beaker woke up and tweeted 

"what do you want?" 

Sambuca explained what was happening 

and before Beaker panicked, he tweeted 

"calm down, I'm going to need your 

help".

Beaker calmed himself down a bit and 

started helping his brother Sambuca. 

Firstly they woke their mum and dad up 

quietly with a little peck. Once they had 

woken them up they explained to them 

what was happening and that they 

needed to move to the highest, tallest 

tree.
