Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young fawn, and all the young fawns in the field loved her. The fawn was called Daisyfur, and she was very happy. When ever she walked by everyone would admire her pretty fur and big brown eyes. She had many friends, and was smart too. Even though all the deers loved her, she didn't like any of them. There were some fawns who she never saw, because they thought they weren't worthy of her. She didn't think so, but they didn't know because they were too shy to talk to her.

Hi Oaktail!
Hi! How are you?
Good thanks!

A few years passed, and Daisyfur became an absolutely gorgeous doe. She became known as 'The Rainbow Field Doe', and had many admirers from all over the land. There was one young deer, who thought if anyone had a chance, it was him. His name was Woodpelt. You see, he thought what he thought because he was big and strong, with huge antlers. How ever, Daisyfur did not like him. She liked someone else.

The deer she liked was called Oaktail, and she had since she was a fawn. He liked Daisyfur very much, but did not know she liked him. He had all the qualities Woodpelt lacked, and more. He was kind, thoughtful, caring, and just NOT a snob. One day Daisyfur's father sent a messenger to tell her he had some wonderful news to share with her. As she walked to the side of the meadow her father was on, she wondered what it was that her father wanted to tell her. while she was crossing the field, she sped up.

It is with Woodpelt.
No father please, I am already in love!

She asked what the great news was, and when her father answered she was shocked, worried, and excited. Her father's news was that he had arranged a marriage for her. She asked who it was with, and he said Woodpelt. She told him she was already in love. Her father, having a soft spot for his daughter, told her she had 24 hours to prove she was, and that they loved her too. She ran of in search of Oaktail, and it was almost sunset when she found him at the top of the hill.
