I woke up in my box this morning, to a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes staring at me. The little girl yelled and said "MOM I WANT THIS DOLL." Her mom said "Okay Claire we'll get this one, but what's her name?" "It's Amelia, isn't she beautiful mom?" said Claire. " She is very beautiful, if you want her you can get her. You are very good at taking care of your toys," said her mom. I felt a shake. The little girl picked my box and carried me to the checkout line. I was very happy because I knew that I was going to a new home.

We got to Claire's house and she took me upstairs to her room. It was a big room with pink walls and a pink bed. Almost everything in her room was pink. Claire set me down on her bed and tried to open my box. She started ripping and scratching my box, but couldn't get it open. "MOM I CAN'T OPEN MY AMELIA DOLL!" she screamed. Her mom came up to her room and opened my box. Claire grabbed me and we started playing.

I really liked playing with Claire. She had a really big doll house and lots of clothes for me! "Claire! Time for dinner!," her mom shouted. Claire got very mad because she didn't want to stop playing with me. She started to say things like I'm not hungry and NO! She got so mad that she threw me behind her bed. Then walked fast like a cheetah, out of her room.

After Claire threw me, I landed behind her bed. It was really dark and I was scared. The blackness danced all around me. Will Claire find me? Will I be under here forever? I heard Claire come upstairs and start to cry. "Where is Amelia?" she said. I saw her feet rush around her bed. A few hours passed and I was still under the bed. It was time for Claire to go to sleep. Her mom came in to tuck her in with her teddy bear. "Mom, I lost Amelia" said Claire. Her Mom said "You need to start taking care of your toys then" "I guess you're right Goodnight Mom," said Claire.
