Today was my first day at school and I was nervous. I had strength in my body to go. I was in kindergarten and took the bus like the other children. I felt weaker than usually. We went in the classroom and ate breakfast while reading. I didn't understand a word it said and the others did. I felt miserable and even more scared and weak. But, Mrs.Robinson said " John had one apple. Which means 1 apple John had in all. I felt a little better. Mrs. Robinson was a nice , careful, and encouraging.

Mrs.Robinson

"Amber, may you please come up and answer this question?"Amber went up nervously and the other kids looked at her. " Was she going to be a big rumor at school? 3 +4 was the question. " 9" she answered. Everyone started laughing and she started to cry. Mrs. Robinson yelled " Be quiet or it's detention for you all!" Everyone shushed. She said "Now the answer is 7. Lets count together and see how we get 7." Amber felt more encouraged and got the lesson. Amber explained "You got 7 because when you count 4 more than 3 is 7. "

"Yes" Mrs.Robinson was proud.

At recess Amber heard no rumors about her. The new problem: She has no friends to play with. She sat down sadly at the ground near the pond seeing her tear pop in the pond. "Hey," a girl near her said, " Do you want to be my friend?" Amber felt like she'd finally been noticed by someone " Yes , I will be your friend." They went on the swings, the slides, the tetherballs and even at the lake and pond. In class they both sat together and read on time together . Amber felt like she was real with a best friend.

At lunch recess we also played together. They talked together at the pond about themselves. Sara, her friend asked "What's your favorite show?" That was the last question. "The ponies"Amber responded. " Mines too." Ding Ding! Went the bell to remind them to be at the cafeteria. Amber and Sara both brought lunch. So, they chose the first table with only two seats. The y both brought a sandwich, an apple , and a cookie. They had a good laugh about it.They ate at the same time.

After lunch was reading , or language arts. Amber and Sara also did the work together and painted and drew together, Amber felt joyful. She was going to tell mom all about it when she gets home. They did a little bit of math games and reading. " Alright students, " said Mrs.Robinson, "Let's clean up reading and move on to history." It seemed that Sara pretended to be excited for history so, Amber did the same. " California regions and their industries. " Answer the questions and read it.

They found the answer so quick, they were the first ones to finish . Mrs. Robinson was in amazement to see all of them correct. "Okay you may look around the globe and find these places." They went to the globe and that took them a long time to do. They finished the time history was over which was 20 minutes. Now was review time and then science."Okay children whats 3=2?" "1" everyone replied. And they did the same easy math again and again .Finally it was Science.

" OKAY children what is electricity?" No one answered. "WHAT I expected. So, electricity is something electric that is brought from the sun."Everyone wrote notes in their notebooks. Amber and Sara also drew examples on the board for electricity."Great job Amber and Sara "Mrs.Robinson said. And that was it for science.
