One day, a girl named Olive walked to school. The same day, a girl named Cassie walked to the same school. And so did a boy named Jesse. They were all going to face something very dangerous later, but they don't know it.

Olive

Today, when I got to school I had the weirdest feeling. I wanted to go to the forest outback. I wouldn't, though. Why would I? It's too risky. Someone would catch me. Or something would kill me.

Cassie

I just had the most awkward sensation. It was as if something was luring me to the forest behind the school. I didn't go, though. I don't know what lurks in there. Or if someone lives in there.

Jesse

I had the most crazy feeling that I should go to the forest back behind the school. I mean, it would be so cool to go back there, but there's too many dangers. Or strangers.

Olive

I see Cassie and a boy walking towards the forest. For some reason, I'm walking there, too...

Cassie

I can see Jesse and Olive walking to the forest. I think I am, too. But I am a little delirious...

Jesse

I'm seeing Cassie and some girl walking up to the fence in front of the forest. I might be, too. I can't tell...

Olive

Uhhh...I'm at the fence that's in front of the forest. I don't know why. I'm feeling light-headed. I think I'm seeing things, but maybe I might be seeing Cassie and that boy walking through the fence...

Cassie

I think I'm at the fence in front of the forest. I'm still delirious, but I think I can see Olive and Jesse walking straight through the fence...

Jesse

Whoa. I feel like I've been flying to the fence near the forest. I may be dreaming, but I think that girl and Cassie are walking through the fence.

Olive

I'm out of my "trance". And I'm apparently in the...AHHH!I'M IN THE FOREST!

Cassie

What...? I just heard a scream. And I am surrounded by trees...AHHH! Trees around me, all dark and foggy, that means...I'M IN THE FOREST!

Jesse

Whoa. What. Was. That. I think I heard a scream. And, am I in the...AHHH! I'M IN THE FOREST!

Olive

O. M. G. Did I hear someone scream?

Cassie

"Olive! Jesse!"I called."Are you there?"

"Cassie?"

"Olive! Where are you?"

"Over here!" I went over to her. "You're alive!"

"Forgetting about something?"

"Jesse!"

"Jesse your cousin? He's here too?"

"Apparently."

"Wait, dude, how did we get this far in the forest?"

Jesse

    "Wait, dude, how did we get this far in the forest?", I had said. 

"What?", said the girl Olive, "We can't be that far. We were just at the fence."

 "We're not anymore. Maybe we were in a trance, walked far away from the fence, and didn't know it.",said Cassie, my cousin.

"Speaking of the fence, how did we get through it? Even if we have gotten this far, we couldn't have gotten this far. We didn't get through the fence gate.",said I. 

Olive

"We did too go through the fence. I don't know if this is real, but earlier I saw you two walking through the fence.",I answered to Jesse.

"That's funny, 'cause I thought I saw you two walking through the fence.",said Cassie.

"Okay, okay. None of us walked through the fence. We were probably just a little delirious.",said Jesse,"Or maybe the fence is a hologram that we walked through."

"We can go look, if ya want.",I said.

"Well, then, let's go!",Cassie said, manifestly annoyed.

Cassie

We went to go look at the fence, thinking that we were walking forward the entire way. Apparently, we weren't. When we went back, we got lost and struggled even more. But we couldn't have took a turn. We walked straight through the fence. We looked around hopelessly. We tried going back to wherever we were, and stumbled upon a small creepy-looking cabin. We have learned in movies never to investigate creepy houses in dark forests, but we were vulnerable. We had to get directions back to the fence!

Jesse

The terrifying cabin was even more terrifying when we went in. The door creaked, like in movies. There was old stuff, like in movies. There was a creepy moose head, too. So creepy.

"Anyone here?",said Olive. It was a terrible mistake. A creepy bone-chilling voice said,"Yes, yes. Do you need directions?"."How do you know?",answered Cassie."Do you want dinner? I have plenty of food. And my signature salad.",said the voice, ignoring Cassie.

"How do we know it's not poison? Or if whoever the heck that person is isn't going to kill us?",I whispered to Cassie."Why would I kill you? Your spirits aren't strong enough to be killed.",said the voice, as if it heard me,"When I was your age, I too wandered into this forest during autumn. The winds blew up the leaves all around me. I heard whispers in the wind. Suddenly, I felt as if a hand pulled something out of my chest. I gasped for air, and right there I died. My soul is now a leaf, for it was pulled out of my chest and transformed into one to cripple and die.".

"What?"

Olive

"What?"If the mysterious person we're talking to died, then how is the person talking to us?"Well, my soul didn't cripple and die, and if my soul is preserved, I shall be, too.",the ghost said, reading my mind."What's your name?",Jesse asked. The ghost came out, surprising us because she looked like some kind of red-haired rag doll. Her hair had two bright red braids. Her face was very pale, and she had long eyelashes, too much blue eyeshadow, and a lot of red blush. Her dress was long and white and she was floating and didn't have feet.
