Terri the Turtle loved swimming in the ocean. But she also wanted to visit the land and explore the shore. She thought about the shore over and over again. The thought just couldn't leave her head.

One day, Terri worked up the courage to explore the land. So, Terri told her family, and bravely started her first journey towards the unknown.

"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" Terri said as she waved goodbye.

"Bye-bye darling!" her parents responded with tears in their eyes..

Terri swims by many different places with many different fish and creatures. Throughout the journey, Terri sees many new things such as big, deep oceans, and large forests of kelp. She also talks with many fish and sea creatures she had never seen before.

At last! Terri had reached the land after a long journey. Fascinated by what was around her in the new location, Terri was extremely happy. But Terri knew, she had to leave sooner or later. Setting off from the island, Terri was exhausted, but ready to be back with her family.

Suddenly, something had gotten caught on Terri's arm! She struggled to get the net off, but it was futile. She tried shaking her arm rapidly, but she only got tired. Terri tried pulling it off, but it only hurt her arm.

Realizing she needed help, Terri tried to swim towards a reef she saw earlier. Each stroke drained Terri's energy as she tried to swim as fast she could. But Terri could feel the distance getting smaller and smaller to the reef.

Terri swam through the dark ocean for what seemed like an eternity. The useless flipper dragged behind Terri and dragged her spirit down as well. Terri was losing hope.

Just as Terri was about to give up, the reef appeared. It was just a faint shadow at the time, but that gave Terri a last boost of strength.

"Yeah, help is right there! I can make it!" she reminded herself.
