To Lucas Edward Mullins, Vishnu Boggala, Brendan Thomas Granai, Everett Brostedt, Brandon Alexander Joyner, Marshmallow, and Mr. Fishy! The greatest friends I could ask for!

Hi my name is Evan a national blobfish enthusiast. I found a time machine in my attic with my friend Bill and we got sucked into it after we touched it. We are currently in the year 3076. We figured out we were in NC because I saw my house and my car. In the 1 week of living in 3076 I figured out blobfish are going extinct because people are eating them. I don't know what ocean there are going to be in because there are five main oceans in the world. When I figured that out it came to me that I am not leaving until the blobfish are safe.
Bill and I have been living in the future for 2 weeks now. We have a plan to save the blobfish. Blobfish are already endangered in 2016 so that doesn't help but we still should be able to save the blobfish. First, we will ask people where they are finding the blobfish to eat. Then, we set up an aquarium to hold at least two blobfish. We will go to the spot one of the people recommended then catch at least two blobfishes. Lastly, we will go back to the past into the time we used to live in (2016) and repopulate the whole blobfish community. So with this plan we set up. Bill is an inventor so he should be able to make the aquarium, then my job is to ask people where to find blobfishes. Boom! Crackle! Goes Bill working on the aquarium. I had great luck finding a person to tell me where the blobfish are. Phase one of our plan was complete.

Cling! Clang! Bill was making final adjustments to the aquarium and testing its strength while I was renting two scuba suits, two air tanks, one boat and an anchor. I came to base of operations with a small boat with all the items we needed for our rescue mission. I went to a car shop and bought some towing cables, luckily they still used credit cards in 3076. Bill finished the aquarium and came outside of their base to wait for me to come back. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ! ZZZZZZZZZZZZ! “Wake up Bill”! I yelled as loud as I could. He suddenly popped up startled and fell of the nearby bench. “Finally” I said “it took you about a million years”. He just grumbled. “It's time to start our mission to save the blobfishes” I said joyfully! We got into the car and rode of to the ocean. I figured out we were going to the Pacific Ocean because it's the biggest ocean in the world.
We arrived at the ocean and stared at it for a while. I saw some seashells and that reminded me of a alliteration Sally sells seashells by the seashore. We then took of the tow rope and the boat fell into the ocean. Bill and I got onto the boat and followed this map that a random pedestrian gave to us. Then when we arrived we used our anchor to lock the ship in place. We took our gear and put it on. We were both nervous when we were about to jump. Then I realized I didn't know how to go diving. I quickly said “hey Bill do you know how to dive”? “Nope” he replied, but this will be a piece of cake…….. For you. You can go first. Then I said ““No you go…”. I didn't get to finish my sentence. I splashed onto the water head first when I saw Bill next to me. The water felt as cold as ice.
I felt pain until I suddenly saw a pink blobfish floating beside me. It was living inside of a coral reef! I grabbed it and realized the coral reef was protecting it from other animals! I knew this because I remembered a metaphor from 10th grade. Corals are defenders!
