Chapter 1 - Self esteem

What is self-esteem? Self-esteem is the confidence one has for themself

What is self-esteem and how does it effect body image for people? If someone has low self-esteem then they will think they look bad.
But if someone has high self-esteem then they won't have a negative body image of themselves then. Having a negative body image can make people self conscious and can cause anxiety disorders.
People can improve there self-esteem by seeing therapist or exercising, eating well, being social with others and being productive

Chap 2 - Dating guidelines

What are the characteristics of a healthy relationship? If it is safe and enjoyable for both partys
Having a mutual respect and seeing each-other as equals in the relation ship. There is no pressure to have sex or behave in a dangerous manner.

Dating can also be a great way to meet new people and see if they can be good long-term partners in the future, marriage and such. Make sure to avoid pressuring your partner to do something
Characteristics of an unhealthy relations ship can be pressuring your partner into doing something that they don't want to do, rape, sexual harassment, violence and date raping
Ways to resolve conflict are don't let your partner force you into doing something, and when she says "no" then it means no. If you remember this advice then you will have a health relationship.
Chap 3 - Sexting
What is sexting? Sexting is sending inappropriate messages or pictures to someone on your phone. Sexting is used to send "nudes" or profane messages to another person.
What are the dangers of sexting? The dangers of sexting come from the legal implications of it, if any party is under 18 then it is technically the production of "child porn".
What are the consequences of sexting? The consequences for such an act can be up to 15 years in jail.


Chap 4 - Dating Violence Guidelines
What are the three types of relationship violence? The main three types of abuse are physical (hitting, slapping, etc)

Verbal and non-verbal forms of abuse (Psychological abuse, emotional abuse, mental abuse)

Sexual abuse is another type of abuse (Rape, sexual assault, etc) this topic was covered in the last chapter as well. These are serious crimes and should not be taken lightly at all.
The Cycle of Violence

Lets start with the Tension Build-up stage. This is the longest phase and is when the person becomes irradiated with small, simple little things that may happen through out the day.
After this phase come the Explosion phase. In this phase the person acts on all their pent up anger and aggression. It most commonly is physical abuse but can be verbal, sexual and even financial.
Once the Explosion Phase is over then begins the Honeymoon phase. In this phase the abuser apologies and makes promises for the act to never happen again. Gift giving and other such things are common. This phase disappears after time
Chap 5 - Sexual Harassment Guidelines
There are only two types that are officially recognized by the law. Quid pro quo and hostile work environment.

Quid pro quo translates to this for that. In the case of sexual harassment means someone will ask you to do a sexual favor for a promotion or a pay increases in your workplace.
Quid pro quo can work the other way also, someone could ask for a sexual favor with the treat that if you refuse they will demote you or lower your pay. This type of harassment is done by people i power mostly
Hostile work environment happens when the environment you work in becomes when the harsh and sexual speech becomes common in the work place and effects the work ability of coworkers.
