I dedicate this book to my parents, my sister Allie and my friends Lucas and Jimin.

Kaboom! The plane crashed like a rhinoceros. Five brothers were in shock. How did this happen? We were on the way to Korea to meet our parents. But then things got messed up when we were on the plane. We were lost in the middle of nowhere!

Just 3 days ago, our parents called and said, "We miss you guys. Can you come and visit us?" I was so excited. I ran downstairs to tell my brother Peter that we were going to Korea. I was speaking in such a loud voice, it was hard for him to be a cool cucumber.

"What is it, Edward?” replied Peter. “We are going to Korea!" I answered in excitement. At that word, Chase came running downstairs happily with the other brothers, Tom and Andrew. We all knew what this meant. Seeing our parents! We haven't seen our parents since we started college 2 years ago. We couldn't wait to finally meet them.

Two days later, five of us were on a plane heading to Korea. Chase said we would pass a tropical rain forest on the way. We all knew

the tropical rain forests contained a lot of organisms such as jaguars, poison dart frogs, and special plant called vienus flytraps. It seemed exciting! However, we were all tired, so we fell asleep.

Zap! the plane was struck by lightning. Our plane started to fall down. KABOOM! The huge sound made us jump as if we got hit by a meteorite. I flew out of my seat, and so did my brothers. We found our pilot lying on the floor. He had no conscience. We were in the middle of nowhere and we just lost our pilot.

We carefully walked out of the plane. We were amazed at the sight outside. “This is impossible,” said Peter. "It can't be true!" cried Tom. "Where are we?" shouted Chase. We knew where we were. It wasn't anywhere near Korea. We were in a tropical rain forest. I knew a lot about tropical rain forests. It contains half of the world animal population, and it rains more than 80 inches each year.

I was enjoying the view of the rain forest when, all of a sudden, a jaguar came from the back of the bushes. It started running towards me. Luckily, my big brother, Tom, found a knife in his pocket and scared it away. "That was close!" I said. Peter grabbed his phone and made an emergency call. He told us we would be rescued in 3 days. "We have to be here for 3 days?" cried Chase. "Oh man, we are dead meat," I shouted. Andrew ran around like he had butterflies in his stomach.

Peter sighed and started to look for a shelter. After 4 hours of searching, we were exhausted. Then, there was a miracle. We spotted a cave and pond! We drank a lot of water and went inside the cave. Andrew felt it was too cold inside. Chase thought it was better than being outside which was over 90 degrees. Brothers had a long day and even though we were very hungry, we dozed off in the cave.

Ahhhh! A terrible scream woke us up. We saw Andrew constricted by an anaconda! Four of us used all of our strengths to free Andrew. I found a rock on the ground and threw it at its face. Anaconda groaned in pain and glared at us. It released Andrew and slithered away. “This is the hardest job in the universe!” I cried, still out of breath. "Are you okay Andrew?" asked Tom. Andrew nodded but he looked shocked and shaky. I could not believe my brother got constricted by a snake.
