Eagles have incredible eyesight. A
golden eagle can see a rabbit that is
two miles away. Eagles build their
nests in very tall tress and rocky cliffs.
It is made of sticks
and branches.
Eagles catch and kill their prey with
their claws and beaks. Eagles soar
high looking for fish, rabbits or mice.
Their wings are as big as a person's

Dolphins can be blue, white, black or
pink. Scientists have found out why
the dolphin is pink. Pink dolpins live
in the                     Amazon River in
South                      America. It's tiny
eyes                          cannot see well
so                               it hunts by sound.
The dolphin uses         it's thin beak to

Cheetahs are the fastest animal on Earth.
They can run up to 62 miles per hour
but only for a few minutes. They are
4 feet long and weigh about 120 pounds.

They live in India. They have great
sight and hearing. They are big

Polar Bears live in the Arctic. They
spend most of their time in the water
and are great swimmers. They are
very good hunters. They eat fish, seals,
and other sea animals. Polar bears
have very thick fur because they live
in very cold weather. Their fur is
covered with oil so they can shake
water off.

Komodo Dragons live in an island in Indonesia. They like
to eat dead animals. Babies roll in their own manure so
the bigger lizards won't eat them. They live up to 30 years.
They have a very deadly bite.They lay up to 20 eggs at a time.

A zebra has whiskers that helps him
find food. He likes to eat grass. Mother
zebras stay with their babies. They
can live for 25 years.

A deer is a mammal. I live about 15
years. The littlest one is called a fawn.
The one that has antlers is called a
buck. The one that doesn't have antlers
is called a doe. I can live in every
continent except Australia and Antarctica.
