"Mommy  I want to go outside."

Emily says looking out the kitchen window.

" But Emily its raining out you cant go 

outside"

Emily's mother replies  

" But mommy I want too!"

Emily cries

" You cannot go out like this Emily, maybe

later. In the mean time, I am baking chocolate

chip cookies because Uncle Ramsay, Aunt Ramsay, your cousins Sonya and Luke and gran and gramps are coming over.

Emily's mother says while taking cookie dough out of the fridge.

" Okay"

Emily says still looking out the window.

" Would you like to help?"

Emily's mother asks

"Okay mommy"

Emily replies

Later the rain stops, and the cookies

are put into the oven.

  " Look Emily its stopped raining."

Emily's mom says while drying a plate.

" Mommy can I go outside now?"

Emily asks.

Emily's mom laughs and says:

" Sure Emily just don't forget to put on your rain jacket, your rain boots, and your rain hat.

" Yay okay thanks mommy"

     Emily says happily

Emily puts on her rain jacket, her rain boots, and her rain hat.

Then she goes outside to jump into the

puddles left behind by the rain.

 A car pulls up in the drive way.

"DADDY!"

Emily yells.

She runs toward her father.

"Hello Emily, having fun?"

Emily`s dad asks.

           " `Yes daddy"

Emily replies laughing.

     Oh Emily look.

Her father pointing to the sky.

`What is it?  

Emily asks curiously.

Its a rainbow.

     Emily`s father points out

        Oh its so pretty

Emily says her eyes wide in wonder.

Daddy we need to let mommy see.

Emily says running towards the front door.

I`ll race you there

Emily`s father says

AHH ITS A MONSTER! 

Emily yells

 Rawr im a big scary monster

Emily`s father says.

Emily runs inside

 she yells

Emily`s mom asks coming out of the kitchen

There`s a rainbow

Emily says happily

 Well is there now.

Emilys grandpa says coming out of the

living room.

Grandma, Grandpa.

  Emily yells and goes to hug them both.

  Ooh a rainbow that's cool

 Emily`s Aunt Ramsay comes out of the

living room.

I wanna see.

Emily`s cousin Sonya says.

Its awesome.

Luke adds in.

Yes its quiet beautiful.
