Once upon a time, there were three friends, Stratos, Fotis and Demmy who decided to take a walk in the forest. Dense and tall trees were all around them. Once in a while, howls of wild animals were heard, breaking the silence of the forest.

Time went by and the kids were way in the deep forest. In a few minutes it would be dark for good. Lightings and thunders were heard from everywhere.

- Come on guys, let’s go before the rain starts, said Stratos.

- But how are we going back? I thing we’re lost, said Demmy in a trembling voice. Primary school of Fre

As the three kids were running to escape the rain and get out of the forest, they noticed a cave on their right. They decided to get inside to protect themselves from the power of the water.

“It’s so scary in here”, Demmy said

“Yes, and it’s very dark, too”, Fotis added. “it’s dark and cold. We have to sleep and continue our journey tomorrow morning”, said Stratos and the three kids fell asleep hugging each other in the cave.

The next morning...When they woke up, they heard a strange noise.

_ ''What is that noise? '' said Stratos.

Suddenly they noticed flock of bats were coming towards them and these three friends were dragged to the dephts of the cave.

When they reached the sun light, bats were gone. Fotis was very suprised because there wasn't a cave anymore.There was an island.

Demmy asked ''Is this the wonderland ?'' Then they heard a noise.

Then, Demmy asked'' Where are we?''

Queen Bat , ''Here is the BATLAND and I am the queen. You will never go back.Children started to whisper.

The other bats gathered behind the elegant bat. Three friends were amazed by the queen bat's beauty. They were shocked for a while.

Fotis :' How ?'

Stratos: ' They cannot keep us here! 'The Queen Bat heard them. She gave an order to catch them.They realized that they were desparete.

Demmy shouted , ' Let us go ! '

The Blue bat heard the children's voice. And he said ,' I'll help you but the queen mustn't know this . '

Fotis , 'How can we trust you ?'

Blue Bat , ' It is the only way to escape from here. '

He did it as what the Blue Bat said.They had to close their eyes because a blue huge light appeared. Nobody knew what to do... but they closed the eyes...

When they opened their eyes they were in their village. But how did it happen? They couldn't believe it. And ...maybe it was just a dream ?

Two weeks later they knew it wasn't a dream. The Blue Bat visited them every night with sad news... The Queen wanted to see one of them every Friday at night.... She lived in a castle .... Within two months they will be free when people promise to stop visiting caves pointed by her.

The three friends knew that they could trust the bats and the queen because even if every Friday they were forced to do what the Queen required, they understood that she behaved so only to defend the forest and the castle.

Infact the Queen wasn't so bad, she was only worried. Looking at her, she was beautiful and elegant. Her voice was light as a lily petal, shining as a summer night star and melodious as a voice of  the violin. Her look was for everybody, the smallest blade of grass and the tiny leaf , too.
