Hi I'm Blue

Blue is a 17 year old boy.

He has been feeling down for nearly a year.

He has no pleasure in any activities that he used to enjoy.

I just want to be alone

Blue didn't feel like talking to anyone after school today.

Blue wanted to be alone.

He decided he'd go walk in the woods and stay there as long as he could.

I can't sleep. I feel like I never can.

Blue has had trouble sleeping ever since he has felt sad and hopeless.

Every time Blue tries to fall asleep it takes him a long time.

If Blue is able to fall asleep he may wake up many times throughout the night.

When Blue wakes up in the morning he never wants to get up for the day. He tells his mom he's too tired

I just want to go home and lay in my bed

Blue started to feel so lonely he decided to go back home.

On his way back home he remembered that his friend Red invited him over for a party.

Blue didn't feel like going to Reds party because he just wanted to be alone.

Hi Mom.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??? YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME YOU WANTED SOME TIME BUT AT LEAST TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE GOING NEXT TIME!!!!

Blues mother was angry that Blue didn't let her know that he was going to be gone the night before.

She then told Blue to go to his room to think about why it is important that he tells her where he is going.

Blue then marched off to his room to think and relax.

Hey Blue, I'm sorry for being angry. How about you go to Reds party and hang out with your friends.

I don't want to....

Blues mother had noticed that Blues major depression was getting worse and worse. Blue never had the energy or motivation to do anything.

Blues mom always suggested things that Blue could do but he always said he was too tired.

Blues mom had an idea. She would encourage him to do things at home first and then do things outside.
