It was a normal morning in New York City. There was the usual traffic that went on for miles and miles. The enormous skyscrapers scattered across the city, casting shadows down below them.

In the midst of the city was a lady named Amy. Amy was getting ready for her long day at the office. On her walk from the subway to her office she decided to take in some of the sites of the city. The sun was bright and gave a cozy warmth to an early fall day. The glistening sun shining off of the buildings made the day seem happy.

Amy walked into her office sad to leave the beautiful sunshine outside and not looking forward to the work day. While she worked she would continuously look out her window across the city. As she scanned the city, the thing that stood out to her most was the Twin Towers. She took in the sights of the enormous structures as they towered over the city beneath them.

As the day carried on Amy began to get bored. Her work began to become dull after a few hours at the office. Nothing exciting was happening today. Then without warning the T.V. in the break room began to flash red, reading Breaking News!

Breaking News!, the tv read.
"Hello, my name is Dan Smith and we are reporting breaking news from NYC" the reporter announced. "It seems that a United Airlines plane has crashed into the North Twin Tower! We will be providing you with any future updates and knowledge of the scene along the way," he stated.
A plane crash at the Twin Towers? It can't be, Amy wondered. Yet it was true. Flight 175 had crashed into the North Tower. Smoke billowed out of the tower. Chaos ran free in the streets. Everything normal that day was switched to absolute chaos and uncertainty in the matter of seconds, and there was no sign of stopping it anytime soon!
It was a frightening sight. People were running for their lives like a stampede of wild animals fleeing from a nearby predator. Everywhere you looked was destruction and scared faces. There was smoke and fire erupting from the tower and people screaming and running for their lives. People wouldn´t be allowed to leave the city for hours.
