Long long ago, in Korea lived a Queen and a King who had a beautiful daughter named Seoul-Yu Lee.

Everyone adored the princess as if she was an angel because Seoul did look like an angel. She had beautiful dazzling hazel eyes like her mother and dark chocolate hair like her father. Seoul had a white marshmallow face with red strawberry rosy cheeks.

One day, The King and Queen took Seoul to visit her grandmother and see Seoul's future. Seoul's grandmother had secret powers that can be used to see in the future. When she saw Seoul's future she gasped. "My granddaughter looks like an angel but has a demon inside her body!" she cried. The King and Queen got worried and realized that if the country knew about this then things would be devastating.

So the King, Queen, and the princess's grandmother decided to keep the demon a secret and kept Seoul away from visitors but took well care of her for 4 years.

Until....

4 years later....

Seoul's secret didn't go out to anyone. It was May 5 and everyone who lived in Korea went out to celebrate Children's Day. Children's day was a Korean celebration in Korea.

The Queen and the King were excited and finally thought they could get Seoul some friends. The queen, Kim came to Seoul 's room. "My beautiful princess, come and wake up and get ready for Children's Day." She said in a soft cheerful voice.

Seoul who was already up was already up and wearing a beautiful Hanbok. "Look Mama, I'm wearing a Hanbok, the one Auntie gave me." Kim smiled and hugged Seoul."i love you so much Seoul." Kim said. "I love you too Mama." Seoul replied.

"Let's go then, papa's waiting." Kim said

Seoul took her mother's finger and they both left the room.

After Lin, Kim and Lin's father Samuel ate breakfast they left the house and went to the village where there was so many kids and adults. Yelling and laughing. Lin loved it. But Lin also suddenly felt shy. But she knew she could do it. When her royal family came inside, everyone got quiet and bowed their head and said, "yeoboseyo wang-ga" (Hello Royal Family) Lin blushed but she bowed her head back. Then the crowd got loud again. When she and her parents walked through, Lin spotted Jung. Her

best friend. "Jung" She called. she rushed over to him and bowed her head. "Annyeong" (Hi). Jung bowed his head back. "Hello. How are you princess? he asked. I'm fine." Lin replied. "Then let's go and have some fun" Jung said and grabbed Lin's hand and ran through the celebrations.

Lin and Jung were in the middle of the place where all the kids were. Lin began to blush which made her face go red. "What's wrong" he asked. "Nothing. Lin said. It's just that I've never really experienced so much fun with you because I always stayed home and never got to hang out with you." Jung smiled and stared at the floor.

Lin was having a great time until she heard a scream. It was a female scream. Everyone stopped moving and saw a man with a hood and a knife in its hand and grabbed Lin's mother.

"Mama!" Lin screamed.

Jung grabbed Lin's hand and hushed her. But tears sprang out of Lin's face. Samuel came up to the killer and started wrestling him. Sadly, he got knifed by the killer. And blood poured out of his stomach.

"Now if anyone comes closer, they'll get killed just like your precious king." He said and laughed. Everyone got quiet and were horrified. Kim sat down next to her husband and started to cry . The killer picked up Kim and started to choke her. Samuel saw and got up but he was too

weak that he got pushed down by the killer's feet and this time Samuel didn't move.

"How could you!?" Kim cried and started to hit the killer with a stick. Though Kim was too slow and missed. Sadly, the killer picked Kim up and stabbed her through with the same knife he stabbed her husband.

Lin was shocked and mad. She let go of Jung's hand and lunged herself at the killer. Too weak to do anything. Lin fell back on the grund hard. When she got up, her hair turned red. Then she realized that blood was from her parents. "They're dead" she thought.

"So you must be the princess. Lin-Yu Lee. Maybe I shall kill you next." He smiled.

Lin was scared but she couldn't do anything. When the killer was about to knife Lin, Jung stepped up but he got kicked hard on his ribs. "Jung!" Lin screamed. But this time it was an angry scream.

Then out of nowhere, a big red demon came out of now where and came in front of Lin and slashed the killer into two pieces and healed Jung and said one last thing to Lin.

"I'm sorry princess. I couldn't save your parents. They lost too much blood. Sorry."

The demon went back inside Lin and vanished.

Lin cried and cried after realizing her parents die in front of her.

Since Lin's /parents died, Lin was an orphan and lived in an orphanage. No one wanted to adopt her because they were afraid that they would be slashed too. Jung's parents couldn't keep Lin because they couldn't afford to keep Lin in the house and Jung had to go to war. Lin was really upset that Jung had to leave that she gave him a hug and a present. It was a bracelet with a jigsaw puzzle of a heart saying best friends. Jung had one piece and Lin had the other.

"Promise me you'll come back." Lin said.

"I promise." Jung replied.

Jung soon left to war. And Lin was alone. She was in the orphanage all alone and soon .
