These happy pigs live in the city of Houston, about 10 minutes from downtown, and 15 minutes from the space center. They live in a 4 bedroom house, with 3 bathrooms. They don’t have any kids, but are foster parents for other kids. One day though, their seemingly boring life would change. “Bills, bills, and more bills. Oh! Peter! There’s a letter from the Pig Space Association, and it’s addressed for you!” Peter’s wife, Patty yells to him. “Just a minute honey, I’ll be right down!” Peter yells from upstairs. Peter races down the stairs, still buckling his pants. Patty hands Peter the letter. He opens it and it says...

Peter Pig, we are in a very tight Space Race with the Cow species. We need you to be the first pig to the Sun, so we can beat the cow species once and for all. Have a good day, Steve Pig PSA

Peter walks to the computer and tells PSA that he will be happy to be the first pig to the sun

Then, A week later, as Peter walks onto his rocket, called the USSS Bacon, which is really the repaired Challenger, he walks on with confidence. Next, The PSA does their pre-flight checks, and lets Peter board the rocket. Finally, He gets in, waves to his wife, who is crying with happiness, and starts the takeoff sequence.

The rocket takes off, and starts towards the Sun.



In the rocket, a PSA director comes on the screen, telling Peter what to do. He starts with “Do you see that green button over there? Push that.” Peter does. “Do you see that yellow button over there? Push that too.” Peter pushes that too. “Do you see that lever over there?” Peter switches the lever. “Don’t switch that, whatever you do. It will cut off all power to the ship.”

“Houston, we have a problem” Peter says to the screen, but those are the last words communicated between control center and Peter as the screen goes blank, and all of the lights turn off. ‘Well aren’t you helpful?’ Peter thinks to himself.
