Once upon a time, there was a beautiful zoo in Warsaw, Poland owned by a christian family.

In warsaw, some people were not liked and they needed some help.

The owners wanted to help these people, so they took these people into their home, the zoo.

They hid these people from the bad guys. They hid them under the animal cages so the bad people would not find them.

The zoo saved over 200 people.

The people live happily ever after and were liked for who they are.

This is a true story of a zoo. When the Nazi's invaded Poland, the Jews were put in ghettos and they would escape and go to the zoo where they would take care of them and hide them . The zoo let them people hide under the cages so that the Nazi's would not find them and take them to concentration camps or execute them. Sometimes the Nazi's would see them and the owners made up a story that they were employees at the zoo. The zoo saved over 200 people over the whole holocaust. Jan and Antonina Zabinski are heroes for what they did, if it wasn't for them then over 200 jews would have lost their lives to the Nazi's
