Once upon a blue sun, in the land of Askilya-
hamyan, the armadillos and the camels had
been at war for several eons.
Neither species was closer to victory than the
other, making tensions high. And things like
food and water and supplies and houses and
medicine were few and far between.

In the land of Askilya-hamyan, there lived an
armadillo whose parents hid her from all the
fighting.
She was tired of staying inside all day, and she
wanted to go outside and see the world she
only saw through the window.
So, one day, when her parents went off to help
in the effort to heal the soldiers, the armadillo
snuck out of her house.

She went exploring in the outdoor places.
She ran and walked and looked at all the
things she could.
"How could I have missed this?" The armadillo
wonders aloud.
During her wandering, she ran into a camel.

The armadillo remembered what her parents
told her about camels.
"Camels are evil, evil things. They took our
land long ago, and now we are fighting to get
it back. So if you ever see a camel, run. Run
far, far away."
So the armadillo turned to run from the camel
but she stopped when she heard the camel
say, "Why are you going to run away?"

"Because," explains the armadillo, "my parents
told me that I should run away from camels
because they're evil."
The camel frowns, "I am not evil. I have never
done an evil thing. I'm actually pretty nice, so
I've been told."
The armadillo thinks about this for a moment.

The armadillo doesn't want to believe that her
parents lied to her, so she starts to walk away.
"Don't go!" Shouts the camel, "I can show you
that not all camels are evil. Why don't we hang
out?"

The armadillo stops, she doesn't know what
"hanging out" means.
"What do you mean 'hang out'?" asked the
armadillo.
"Haven't you hung out with anyone before?"
asks the camel.
The armadillo shakes her head, "I have been
inside the house my whole life, so I don't have
any friends to hang out with."

"That's horrible!" exclaims the camel after
hearing this.
The armadillo only shrugs.
"Do you still want to hang out?" asks the
camel.
The armadillo nods.

The camel leads the armadillo to the desert by
the pyramids of the Glorious Moons.
"I thought this would be a good place to hang
out," says the camel.

The camel and the armadillo hang out with
each other until the bugle call came from the
armadillo soldier camp.
"I have to go now," says the armadillo, "my
parents will be done with their shift soon, and I
don't want them to know that I snuck out."
"Will we be able to hang out again soon?" asks
the camel.
The armadillo nods before running home.
