OUR VISIT TO TALLAHASSEE WAS AWESOME!!!

Our first stop was at UCF ( University of Central Florida)

Did you know that once in a year they shut down the huge fountain and almost 10,000 students get in it?

When we got to Tallahassee, we started working right away. We had dinner and then separated into groups called by bus number. Our bus was #7. We met new people and also made new friends. Everyone was collaborating. Our guides were Meredith and Whitney, they were spectacularly awesome!!

The second day, we transferred to TCC (Tallahassee Community College) and we met the panelists. Then we separated into committees and some of the committees visited the historic capitol. After that we went to our rooms to start working on the proposals.

When it was time for lunch, we went to the food court and ate sandwiches from subway. We had 30 minutes to eat lunch and then go back to work. We had to work on some questions to then do the proposal. Then we departed for dinner. We ate at Olive Garden. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!

IS THERE SOMETHING THE PROGRAM COULD IMPROVE?

The third day in the morning we transferred to TCC at 8:30 in the morning. At 9:30 we started working again! Some of the committees that didn't visit the capitol the day before would visit it on this day. At 12:00 we went to lunch and they gave each kid $10 to buy lunch.

Some people ate subway again! At 3:45 PM we had the Youth Summit Convention. And at 7:00 we departed for dinner. And guess where we went! FUN STATION! And we had so much fun!

Then we transferred to the hotel at 9:30 and had room check at 10:00.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN IN THIS TRIP?

What I learned on the trip was...

FORMAL DAY!!!

Last day! We weren't happy that the trip ended so fast, but at last we had so much fun. At 7:45 in the morning we had to load luggage onto the bus. At 8:00 in the morning we transferred to TCC and there we had the meeting with important people from the government. At 8:45 in the morning we had the presentation of the Florida Youth Legislative Agenda. And at 10:30 we had the FSU Admissions Session. Then we transferred to FSU and at 11:15 we had the FSU Campus Tour. At 12:30 we got on our way to UF, then we had the UF tour, loaded buses and had boxed dinner. At 5:45 we departed from UF to Miami.
