Meet them all!

Hamilton, Alexander:
Hamilton, born in 1755/1757, was best known for his amazing work during the American Revolution such as: being one of the principal author of The Federalist papers, and for his support for an amazing strong central government.
FUN FACT:
Did you know you can see Hamilton everywhere? He`s in the ten dollar bill.


AARON BURR:
Showed fearlessness running for Vice President and New York state attorney, winning both titles. He also showed bravery, by serving as a Continental Army in the Revolutionary War.




THE SCHUYLER SISTERS!
Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton (Eliza): Was born on August 9, 1757. She was the second child. At the age of 22, she met Alexander Hamilton and were married on December 14, 1780.



Fun Fact: Mrs. Hamilton has two siblings named Angelica, and Margarita Schuyler.

The Beginning of it all

Alexander Hamilton
Hamilton was born on the West Indian island of Nevis on Jan. 11, 1757. He is the son of James Hamilton and Rachel Faucett Lavien. After the death of his mother, by yellow fever, and the bankruptcy of his father, Hamilton became independent and began getting into politics and the government.
Hamilton was a great and curious man. During his young adult years, he worked at a trading charter and negotiated with others while impressing them with many of his skills,like management, as well as his outstanding writing abilities. Because of his extraordinary skills he was offered education to America. Showing Amazing skills with money.







With the graciousness of Nicolas Cruger, Hamilton was offered education in America to go to a university called King's college, known today as Columbia University.




Princeton
Hamilton finally graduates from Columbia University and at this point he gets word from around the school about a man named Aaron Burr. Hamilton meets him one day and they become fond of each other and both get involved in the revolution that was now beginning in New York.
Hamilton writes his first political pamphlet, called "A Full Vindication of the Measures of Congress". Supporting the right of the First Continental Congress to authorize a trade boycott to England. Hamilton signs the paper as, "A Friend to America."





Chapter 2
Beginning of the Revolution
FUN FACT:
Alexander Hamilton was made into a very popular Broadway musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda called, "Hamilton".
Hamilton becomes captain of the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Unit. Hamilton, himself, draws attention to Continental Army, George Washington, commander's attention with his daring and brilliant military skills.







In July 4, 1776, the Declaration Of Independence was written and signed. This took place in Philadelphia where other amazing people and leaders like Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to participate in. The Declaration of Independence was mainly meant to try and give freedom to the United States of America as well as to help give more rights to its people.
Fun Fact: We celebrate our independence on July 4th with fireworks each year!

Hamilton was in the battle of Princeton. He got promoted to lieutenant colonel and was made aide-de-camp by George Washington.
FUN FACT: Aide-de-camp is a military officer acting as a confidential assistant to a senior officer
Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler got married in February, 1780
Hamilton fought in different battles including Long Island, White Plains, Trenton and Yorktown.
The Yorktown battle lead to two major negotiations. The Treaty of Paris, between the United States and Great Britain. And another treaty between France, Britain and Spain.
These treaties and several others comprise the collection of peace agreements known as Peace of Paris, officially marking the end of the American Revolutionary War.
