THE ADVENTURES OF MIKE AND TIM

BY: GRACE JOHNSON

Once upon a time, there was a really cool narwhal whose name was Mike.
Mike lived in the ocean, on a reef with many other fish, and even a whale!

Mike loved to have fun with his dolphin friend, Tim.
They liked to sometimes hide in the kelp.

"I found you!"
One day, they went out to play. They didn't mean to, but they swam too far away from their reef.

They were too busy having fun playing underwater volleyball to notice that they had become lost.

"Pass it to me!" said Mike.

Suddenly, Tim said...
"Mike, none of these fish look familiar!"

He was right. They were lost.

They had to go on an adventure to return back home to their reef!

They asked a seagull named Joe for directions.
He said...

If you want to get back home...first, you have to ask the turtle for a ride. Then, you must talk to the shark. He will tell you where the treasure chest is. Once you find the treasure chest, you will know how to get home.

"That sounds like a lot of work." said Tim.

"It will be, but good things often require a lot of hard work and effort. Do you want to make it back to your reef?" asked Joe.
"YES!"
Tim and Mike both said:
After they thanked Joe, they left to go on their adventure, so that they could return to their reef.

They first looked for the turtle.

"Oh, turtle...where are you?" Tim said.
They looked in many places.
They looked near the shore.

No turtle there.
