Introduction
My name is Joan of Arc. I was born January 6, 1412. I led the french army at the age of 18. I was recognized as a saint after my death and here is my story.

I was born on January 6th 1412. I was born in a really poor family. My parents are Jaques D'Arc and Isabelle Romee. My parents were both peasants and I never could do what I wanted to do. I had 4 siblings. I had three brother and one sister. When I was little I learned domestic skills from my mom. I never ventured too far and took care of animals. I also never learned reading , writing, and mounting a horse.. But I was wise in most ways.

There was the 100 year war going on in the time period when I was born. So when I was three King henry the Fifth of England invaded northern France and gained support of the Burgundians. 5 years later 1420 treaty of Troyes, granted the French throne to Henry the Fifth as regent for the insane king Charles the Fifth. But few months later they both died, leaving Henry's infant son as king of both realms.

When I was 13 (1425), I started to hear voices and have mystical visions, making me have a pious life. Three years later, at 1428, the voices instructed me to go to Vacouleurs, and contact Robert de Baudricourt, the garrison commander and supporter of Charles. I gave a request to Baudricourt and asked if he can help me get to the army. However, he refused to help or take my request until he realized that I was gaining the approval of villagers.

Robert de Baudricourt
"One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying."
-Joan of Arc-
"If I am not, may God put me there; and if I am, may God so keep me."
-Joan of Arc-

At 1429 Baudricourt has made the choice and game me a horse and several soldiers for an 11 day journey. Charles the fifth was not too sure if I could save france at first and started to examine me, but didn't found anything suspicious or dangerous. but later he just decided to send me to the battle anyways, while he was still concern about sending me to the war and letting me lead the French army.

When I was able to lead the army my army took control of the English fortification after our victory. When I was successful Charles was then crowned as the king. Although we won against the English I was in danger of people coming trying to capture me.
