This is the Fairies' Forest!

Many fairies live here but five of them are famous as they are our classes' fairies!

Let's get to know them!

Hi! I'm the New Year's Fairy and I'm at home now in the forest! I want to tell you a story about  what happened in a winter and cold day.

 Once upon a time, there was a fairy who was very sad.

 -Why are you sad? You must be happy because at Christmas everybody is happy. The New Year's Fairy said.

 -I'm sad because there are many children who cannot receive toys al Christmas. How could we help them? .The sad fairy asked.

 - Please, don't be upset, my darling! We have to wake up the Sesons Fairies: Spring Fairy, Summer Fairy and Autumn Fairy. They will call for the other fairies and we will lay heads together.

- I've got an idea!  We can recycle old toys. Bell Fairy will do that!. She will be helped by Light Fairy!

New Year's Fairy

Shorter after that all the fairies are in Cyber Meadow. 

Hearing what is all about, each of them tries to help. Light Fairy connects to the data base and finds out the names of the children who cannot get presents. 

- I will go to the children who have plenty of toys and clothes, Sleep Fairy volunteers. I will blow magic dust over them and when they wake up, they will go to school and consult their colleagues. I have big faith in the youngsters' kindness!. The children wake up in the morning happily. They notice that they have got plenty of toys and they don't use all of them.

The next day the children go to school and they collect clothes, books, cds toys, dolls and presents. They sing the carols too, and they collect money and sweets! They give money and sweets to New Year's Fairy.She hands out them to other children.

Hello, I am Clara, I am from Ceuta, Spain. I get up at seven o´clock. I go to the forest to have some fruit to have breakfast. I plant some seeds, I water the plants, I take care of the animals which live in the forest.

I like playing with the animals. I also like helping the animals which are in danger. I like flowers and smiling and I also love being with other fairies.

I can sing and dance. I can also draw and paint.

I wish children were happy and I wish every child had toys. I send you a big kiss and a big hug.

Hello! My name is Esmeralda and I'm from Pola de Lena ( Asturias). It's a very beautiful town in the north of Spain. Every day I get up at 8 o'clock in the morning and then I have breakfast with my family. I go to school and there I learn magic spells and I play with my friends. I have lunch at 2 o'clock and after that I do my homework in my bedroom and I practice magic spells. In the evening I fly with my friends in the woods and we have lots of fun. I like playing with my magic frog. I am clever, confident and socialbe. I'm good at doing magic spells. I wish I were taller and I want to meet fairies from all over the world.

Hello. My name is Violet and I'm from Patra, Greece. I live in the fairies forest.

Every day I get up at 8.00, I have the fairies' breakfast with all the fairies and then I fly to a beautiful pink school.

In my free time I like sports. I like swimming and playing tennis. I like reading books, playing the piano, singing and dancing. I also like collecting tree leaves. I love flying with the other fairies.

I am beautiful, funny, happy and clever. I am very kind and nice with people.

I want all my friends to be happy. I want to have many friends. I want to fly all day and help people. I hope this world is wonderful and peaceful.

Hello, I am Iuliana! I am from Giurgiu, Romania.I have got long, fair hair and blue eyes. I like pink.

I live in a magic forest . My home is made of gold and diamonds and it is a big castle. Every day I use my magic power to help animals and plants. 

I love having parties . I can dance on the flying mushrooms. In summer I freeze the lake to skate on it . 

I wish I could meet Esmeralda, Violet , Clara and Aurora one day .

Hi! I'm Aurora! I'm from Turkey, Burdur.

I get up early in the morning. I have breakfast in the forest.It is so enjoyable. I am a flower fairy. I have magic power on my wings. I help flowers to grow up.I water them and smell their perfume. I clean their leaves. I like speaking with flowers.I also like watering the flowers. I love being in the forest with my fairy friends. I also love drawing picturesmand play the piano. My favourite lessons are music and art. I can fly and run fast. I can cook and I can clean my room.

Our pupils chose a value and started writing a story about it!

Then another partner wrote the second paragraph and a third partner wrote the ending of the story!

Finally the pupils illustrated the stories!

One day, Clara and Aurora were walking in the forest and suddenly they saw a rabbit. The poor rabbit was behind a tree and crying.

Clara:- Why are you hidden and crying little rabbit? Clara asked.

Rabbit:- Because I have got long ears and long teeth, I am very small and fatty. 

Aurora:- Why are you saying that? You are a pretty rabbit. You need long ears to hear, long teeth to cut carrots, you are fatty not to be cold in winter and you are small to be able to hide in small holes.... you are perfect.

Rabbit:- Thank you, but the others animals don't think the same. They said to me all those ugly things.

Clara:- Who said that?

Rabbit:- If I tell you who said that, they will hit me.

Aurora- You must tell us. We will help you. (Ceuta, Sapin)

STOP BULLYING

Clara: Come to our house.

Rabbit: Ok!I need your help.

The fairies and the rabbit are going to Clara's house.

Clara:Have some carrots and tea.

Rabbit Thank you!I like carrots and tea!They are very tasty!

Aurora: Ok!So what's the problem dear Roger?

Rabbit: Some animals make fun of me!They make fun of my long ears and my long teeth.

Aurora: You mustn't be afraid.You must be brave.

Clara: When they make fun of you,tell them stop.

Aurora: You musn't cry but you must speak to your family aqnd to the forest faries.

Rabbit: Ok!You are right!

The rabbit is calm now and he goes home.The next day,Roger is walking in the forest when he sees the bear. (Patra, Greece)

Bear: Why are you so ugly? 

Rabbit: I can´t listen to you. I don't understand ugly words!

Bear: If you continue talking in this way you'll be in problems!

Rabbit: I don't mind! I've got many friends.

Bear: Are you crazy?Do you want me to hit you?

Rabbit: I can't understand you! 

The bear hit the rabbit and suddenly all the fairies from the forest appeared.

Fairies: What are you doing with our friend Roger?

Bear: I don't like this rabbit. He's got big ears and big teeth and he is so fat.

Suddenly the fairies put a magic spell on the bear, and he turns into a rabbit like Roger.

The bear kept walking and he saw his friends in the forest.

Friends: Who are you, ugly and fatty rabbit?

Bear: I'm your friend , the bear.

Friends: Impossible. Our friends is big, fury and dangerous.And you are a tiny rabbit.

Bear: Believe me!I'm your friend. 

The bear began cryiing and Roger and the fairies appeared.

Roger: What do you feel when people make fun of you? Do you like it?

Bear: No, I don't like it. Please tell the fairies to be a bear againg.

Roger: With a condition. Don't make fun on people never again.

Bear : I promise it!

The fairies helped the bear and they were friends. (Pola de Lena, Asturias, Spain.)

TO BE HONEST:)

It is a warm day in spring.The flower fairy is flying in the forest and she is very energetic. he is also very happy because she is going to meet her fairy friends.They have breakfast in the forest and have fun. While the flower fairy is lokking around, she sees something strange. There are black clouds down in the forest.When she comes closer,she realizes that some trees in the forest are on fire.

-What is happening there? she asks.Why are these trees burning?

She hears some noise behind her.When she turns back she sees a small turtle .. What is the matter? asked the fairy.

Turtle: My babies are down there,they are burning and I can't move because my leg is broken.

Fairy: Don't worry I will help you.

The fairy called her friends and they flew away and they could take the babies with them. (Burdur, Turkey)

Fairy: Here you are!Your babies are safe.

Turtle: Thank you Fairy. I am so happy they are safe!Suddenly the turtle starts crying.

Fairy: Why are you crying you are all safe now.

Turtle:I must tell you the truth.I started the fire.I am so sorry!I wanted to cook for my babies and I started a barbecue.I am so sorry.

Fairy: Don't do it again fires are dangerous in the forest!Let's make signs and put them in the forest. (Patra, Greece)

Generosity

It is a warm autumn day. The beautiful fairy, Iuliana, is looking out of the window of her palace. Under the ancient oak she notices how a squirrel drags a sparrow towards its hollow.

Iuliana takes her sun umbrella and goes downstairs to see what is happening.

- I have just come back from the woods. I have a lot of acorns now and I arrange them in my home when I hear a loud bang outside. I come closer to the hollow opening and I see a little head with teary eyes, asking for help. Looking better I see this sparrow, weak and with its wing broken. (Giurgiu, Romania).

It has an accident while it is flying in the forest. I want to help it because it is very sorry. It is important to help friends when they need help.The fairy ask:

-I agree with you.What is the problem? What happended?

The sparrow says:

-While I am looking for food,I fall into a trap.Somebody want to catch me and put me into a cage.

Iuliana says:

- I am very sorry to hear that.What can I do for you?

The sparrow says:- Please help my wing to be healthy again. I need a bandage for it. (Burdur, Turkey).

Iluliana: -Don't worry little sparrow, don't be afraid. We will help you and you will be flying soon again.

Sparrow- Thank you, you are very kind.

Iluliana asked some squirrels for help: Call the old owl. He is very wise and he knows how to cure the wings of the sparrow.

Meanwhile Iluliana prepared a cup of tea and she offered the saprrow some biscuits -Have this, it is warm and it make will you feel better. 

Sparrow:- Thank you. I love tea. 

The squirrels arrived at the palace with the owl which was holding a big bag.

Iluliana:-Oh, nice you are here, thank you for coming, you must this poor sparrow. He needs our help and you know how to help him. 

Owl:I have some things in may bag that can be useful.

After a while the owl finished and said to the sparrow that he won't be able to fly in a pair of weeks and added:- Now, you have to rest.

Iluliana saw the sparrow really sad and asked him:- Why are you so sad?, you must be happy because the ols said that your wing will be fine in some weeks. 

The sparrow was very sad because his home was far away and said:- I don't know where to go.

Iluliana:- Don't worry, you can stay in my palace until you can fly. We will take care of you.

Sparrow:- Oh, you are very generous.

After two weeks, the sparrow was ready to fly and to go back home.

Sparrow:-Thank you for your help and for your hospitality. All of you have been very generous.

Iluliana: Generosity is very important. I can need someone's help in any time so everybody should be generous. 

Sparrow: I will ever forget your help. Take care.

Iluliana, the squirrels and the owl said goodbye to the sparrow. See you soon. (Ceuta, Spain)

Respect Nature

Violet is a kind and beautiful fairy. She lives in the fairies forest with her friends, the fairies and the animals. The squirrels are Violet's best friends.

Violet: 'I love all the animals but the squirrels are my favourite animals! We often play together in the forest and we drink tea in the afternoon'.

Alvin: 'We love you Violet! We have a lot of fun with you together!' 

On a winter morning, Violet is at home and she sees a lot of men with axes walking in the forest. Violet feels surprised and scared.

 Violet: 'Who are they? Why are they here?'  (Patra, Greece)

 Violet: I wonder if they want to cut the trees and the house of the squirrels.

  We must stop them.

 The fairy called Alvin and told him what she saw.

 Violet: Alvin, call all the animals, we need help. We must collaborate all together to stop those men.

 All the animals met in the forest to plan how to stop those men with axes.

 Violet coordinated the plan

  Violet: We are a great team so let's start:

      -Wolves, howl as much as you can to scare the men, said Violet.

      -Bears, look for logs.

      -The rest of the animals, build walls with the logs.   

      -I will make posters that say "Don't cut the trees, they are the house of the animals."(Ceuta, Spain)  

The next day , at daybreak , the worker teams drive towards the forest.At their surprise , as close to the forest they come, as noisier it is. Howlings, roarings, cackles, yelpings,growlings ...and a log wall surrounding the woods. Right in front of them posters with slogans against cutting down the trees. Startled , they stop their jeeps and discuss. They do not enter the forest anymore. Their tools are taken back and they all drive back to town. 

We have succeeded! We have won ! Violet cheers.

Friendship

Esmeralda is a fairy who has many friends.

One day her very best friend moves to another country and Esmeralda is very sad.

The rest of Esmeralda's friends phoned her to go out and play but she didn't want to go out withouth her best friend.

Her friends went to Esmeralda's house and tried to cheer her up but she was still sad.

Next day, when they went to school a new partner came to school........ (Pola de Lena, Asturias, Spain)

-You are new here, Esmeralda noticed .

-Yes, indeed. I am from Romania and my name is Iuliana.

-Romania? I don't know anything about it . 

-I will tell you about it after classes. Would you like to go out with me ?

-Hhhh...I ....I think I will.

They met in the afternoon , they sat down on the grass and Iuliana showed her a lot of pictures from her country . Esmeralda was happy and curious and she really liked the new girl...

Giurgiu

Esmeralda looked all the pictures with the new girl.Iuliana told her about her life.She listened to her carefully and notice that they can be friends.Esmeralda told her new friend about her best friend who has gone.They found a lot of common points. Both of them lihe reading books and watching films.

After that day theydecided to go to the cinema and library.Next weekend they came together and went to the cinema.They had fun together.

Esmeralda said: You came to our class when I felt alone.

Iuliana answered: I was alone too. I left my friends in Romania and came here .

 After that Esmeralda began to smile and thought that she was lucky to have a friend like Iuliana.

 They got on well and sit in the class next. THE END.
