Tyler and Aaron are best friends. At school, they eat lunch together, and they play together. Their favorite game to play is Superheroes! One day, Aaron invited Tyler over for a sleepover.

"Hey Tyler, do you want to sleep over later? My dads said its okay, and I can show you my collection of Superhero costumes!" said Aaron

"That sounds great," exclaimed Tyler.

When Tyler got home later that day, a great wave of uneasy feelings came over him when he began to pack for his sleepover...

...so his mom went upstairs to see what the hold up was. When she got there, she found Tyler distraught with a ton of questions on his mind

"Aaron has two dads, what if they don't like me because my family is different then theirs? What if they don't know how to tuck me into bed and help me brush my teeth the same way my mom does? How can a family work when there is no mom!?" he worried and wondered.

She calmed him down and simply said, "Tyler, there is no perfect recipe for a family. As long as you have love, respect, and kindness... you have family."

She continued to reassure him that he would be welcomed in Aaron's home with open arms, and he would be fine throughout the night. He whipped his tears, packed his bags, and headed over to Aaron's.

When Tyler arrived, Aaron's dad Jamie was excitedly awaiting his arrival on the front porch.

"Hey Tyler!" he exclaimed! "We are so psyched to have you over tonight. Can I get you a glass of apple juice?"

Tyler was shocked by Jamie's question! "How did he know I LOVE apple juice? Mom my ALWAYS gives me apple juice when I come home?" he wondered.

Tyler sighed a breath of relief as he walked into Aaron's house. "Maybe Aaron's parents are just like mine," he thought to himself.

Tyler ran inside where he was greeted by his best friend Aaron and his other dad, John!

They played Superheroes and laughed the night away...
