The good witch lived in the golden forest. Her job was to take care of all the creatures, the birds, the fairies, the chipmunks, the gazelles and even the trees.

Her name was Nonos and she had a skin with the color of wheat and a hair of the color of the sun at dusk. Her eyes were dark and beautiful.

Nonos was best friends with the unicorn, she rode with her all through the forest. They played with animals together and they shared a lot of magic.

One day the chipmunk came to the witch. He asked her to make him a fish.
"Why a fish?" The witch asked.
"I will get to swim the ocean and travel across the world. Being a chipmunk is fun but I don't get to swim all around the world."

The wise witch thought for a second. Then she said, "But you know, if you became a fish, you will be in the water. We will not be able to see much of you. We won't be able to talk and I won't be able to take care of you." The witch said.
The chipmunk thought for a second and then said, "so, cannot you come everyday to see me?"

"I don't think I can. I have to take care of all the creatures of the forest, you know the ocean is not my place and if you will see me, what about everybody else?" Nonos answered.
"But I have been dreaming about seeing all these places. I thought I would be really happy as a fish." The chipmunk said sadly.

The good witch looked at the sad chipmunk and felt sad for not being able to help him.
She stared at him for a while and then she said, "I have an idea. How about I turn you to a chipmunk for only one day? If you loved it, I can let you be a fish forever. If not, I will turn you back to your nature. What do you say?"
The chipmunk jumped with happiness shouting "Thank you thank you thank you. You are the best good witch that ever lived."
