Once upon a time there was a girl name Claire.

Claire was a beautiful young girl who was always happy.

She loved to play dress up and go outdoors with her dog Willows. She enjoyed the outdoors, although often wasn´t allow because of her strict father.

Claire lived with her mother and father. She was also the only child.

Her mother and father are always so angry at each other.

Well, daddy is always mad at mommy.

Although she loves the outdoors, she can never go outside.  Daddy says ¨no¨ all the time.

That doesn't stop Claire.

Every Saturday Claire's voice fills the house with laughter and singing

She loves to sing. She also loves to run, but running drives father crazy.

He yells upstairs.. CLAIRE CLAIRE CLAIREEE YOU STOP THAT THIS INSTANT. Claire jumps in a scare and falls on the ground. BOOM another big bump BOOM BOOM!.

Mother and father had been arguing already on this beautiful Saturday.  So father was pissed.

Claire tip toed to the first step and sat as she listened.

¨NO NO NO! ¨ She heard father screaming to the top of his lungs. From where she was sitting she saw mother holding herself.

Claire was scared. Daddy never got this mad.

They moved to the kitchen. Claire heard mother's voice getting shaky.

¨Why, oh why Michael?¨ Mother said, Claire was so scared she let out a huge gasp, feeling for her mother.

She saw daddy doing bad things to mommy, that nearly knocked her to the floor.

Daddy heard her outburst and sent her to her room for punishment. Daddy didn't like nosy girls.

You get up those stairs now!

Claire ran up to her room in tears.

That night Claire cried herself to sleep. She dreamed about a better life for her and momma.

Knock, knock, boom , boom. Claire unlock this door. Unlock this door this very instant.

Claire woke up rubbing her eyes. She thought it was a dream. Boom, Boom ,Claire! Boom, boom
