Chapter One: Self Esteem
What is self esteem?
Self esteem is confidence in yourself and how much you respect yourself and your own abilities. Self esteem is an important thing to have in a happy, healthy, life, because having high self esteem can make a person more motivated, helpful, and all-around healthier.
What is body image and how does self esteem affect it?
Body image is how one views one's self and body. This can be affected by self esteem in a number of ways. Having high self esteem can enforce a positive body image, making a person more confident and happier with life in general. Low self esteem can affect body image negatively, making people feel bad about themselves and can lead to depression and extreme unhealthiness.
How can you improve your self esteem?
If you have low self esteem and are going through hardships because of it, you can take steps to raise your self esteem. Some things that can help are surrounding yourself with supportive people, doing things that you enjoy, exercising, talking to yourself positively, and avoiding comparing yourself to others.

Chapter Two: Dating Guidelines
What is a healthy relationship?
A healthy relationship has:
- Mutual respect
- Trust
- Honesty
- Support
- Fairness/equality
- Separate identities
- Good communication
What is an unhealthy relationship?
An unhealthy relationship has:
- Pressure to change for the other person
- One person put before the other person
- A lack of privacy
- Attempts to control or manipulate a partner
- A lack of fairness and equality
- Yelling or physical violence
- A requirement to justify actions
How do you resolve conflicts in a relationship?
All relationships will eventually have some sort of conflict. When this time comes, there are healthy and unhealthy ways to solve said conflicts. Unhealthy ways can include arguing about the issue, which often leaves one partner feeling bad about themselves. Healthy ways of resolving issues can include reaching a compromise or weighing the pros and cons of each solution.

Chapter Three: Sexting
What is sexting and how is it used?
Sexting is the sending of sexually explicit messages or images through texts or other kinds of messaging. It is commonly used in romantic relationships for fun, to flirt, or for popularity, and can sometimes be induced by peer pressure.
What are the dangers of sexting?
Sexting, and especially the sending of sexually explicit images, can be dangerous for many reasons. Once a message is out on the internet, the original sender has no control over where is goes and who it is sent to. These messages can eventually fall into the hands of someone who will use them to manipulate the original sender, or use them for other malicious purposes.
What are the consequences of sexting?
Other than the obvious social consequences, such as ridicule, rejection, and being manipulated by others, sexting can have legal consequences as well. If a person sends of receives sexually explicit images of an underage person, the sender and receiver can be labeled as sex offenders. In fact, if an underage person is involved in the sharing of sexually explicit images in any way, it is a crime.

Chapter Four: Dating Violence
What are the types of dating violence?
The types of dating violence are:
- Verbal: Yelling or swearing at a partner to purposefully make them feel bad.
- Emotional: Manipulation of a partner's emotions, often with the goal of controlling said partner.
- Physical: Violence or threats of violence towards a partner.
- Sexual: Unwanted sexual touching, force or pressure to get a partner to consent, rape, or attempted rape.

What is the cycle of violence?
The cycle of violence is a pattern that is often followed in unhealthy relationships. It has three phases: The "honeymoon" phase, where the people involved seem to make up, the "tension" phase, where tension is evident in the relationship, and the "explosion" phase, in which things come to a head and the abuse itself actually happens.
Where can you go to get help?
There are multiple resources out there to provide help for anyone in an abusive relationship. Here, there are some links to websites made to help those in situations like these. You can also get help by telling friends and family, or contacting the authorities yourself.
