TO: Garrett Stoecker
From Maylen

Once upon a time there were two boys. One was named Grant and the younger boy's name was Garrett. One year Grant got a dog. He named her Gracie. Gracie always spent more time with Garrett because Garrett explored everywhere, while Grant played video games in the cabin where they lived in the summer

One day Garrett found a waterfall. He and Gracie went for a swim and then he changed into dry clothes, and went home and because he was so tired, he played video games with Grant.
The next day Grant decided to come with Garrett and Gracie to the waterfall. They had a nice swim together. Then Grant, because he was tired, made Garrett and Gracie carry him home.

WOW!COOL!

One beautiful spring day when Garrett and Grant were walking with their dad Jason, they saw their mother walking with their middle brother Gavin and their sister Madison. "Hi", they yelled in unison! Their mom, Gayla, turned around and said "Hi honey". And then they saw their friends, Leo who lived near by and Madison's friend Lilly.

As Leo, Gavin, and Garrett played near Grant and Luke, who were in charge. All of the sudden, Lilly and Madison tackled Gavin and Leo to the ground. Garrett helped them get the little girls off of them.
The boys talked quietly for awhile and then when the girls were playing movie star, they jumped on them, then got off laughing.

WOW!
First iook at camp mountville

When Grant, Gavin, and Garrett arrived at Camp Mountville, they met their cabin-mates. Luke and Leo were there and a new kid named Fred. When the boys asked their counselor what that door led to, he said "that is the door to your bunks."
The counselor's name was John and he was 17 years old and very tall. He said that he was one of the youngest counselors at Mountville.

There were 3 bunk bed which made 6 beds. Fred said "I want the top bunk!" "OK" said everyone. When Luke tried to sit up in his bed, he bonked his head. "OUCH" he said and fell back down.
The bunks were not that comfortable because the mattress were cheap thin ones and very hard. And there were no pillows. So everyone slept pillowless, until morning. Then John gave them pillows and extra covers.

On the first day of camp, Leo and Garrett took a hike in the mountainous woods. They met two boys and four girls from the other cabins. The boys names were Jimmy and Bob.
Jimmy was nice, but Bobby was mean. Bobby's sister Cloe and his girlfriend Bess usually hung out with him. The two other girls, Aubrey and Nancy wanted to get acquainted with Leo and Garrett. Aubrey liked Garrett the best and Nancy had a crush on Leo.

BYE
On the first day of school, Garrett, Gavin and Grant were almost late because they had stayed up too late because they had just moved in from their summer cabin in the woods.
Garrett's teacher was Miss Mallory. She was a 3rd grade teacher and this was her 2nd year of teaching. She had short black hair and was very pretty. But she was very strict and did not put up with any nonsense.]

It just happened that Aubrey and Nancy moved to town and were in the same class room as Garrett and Leo. Leo regretted telling them where he lived and Garrett was confused why they moved here. He really was not interested in having a girlfriend but he did think Aubrey was kind of cute.
Miss Mallory asked Garrett and Leo to show the girls around and make them feel welcome. Leo almost fainted and growled, "ok".

Mr. Jones picked ten students when usually he picks only nine students because that is how many kinds of instruments he has, except for the piano. When he saw Garrett play the piano, he decided that Garrett should be part of his band. He choose 4 third graders, 3 fourth graders and 3 fifth graders. He decided that the third graders were most talented children he had ever heard and Garrett was an amazing pianist.
