Mystery

Once upon a time, Lucy stood staring at the grass. "Look" she said. "There is something in the grass." "Your just seeing things." said Amy.

"I know." said Lucy. "But, it's fun to pretend there is." "No." said Amy. "It's better to go inside before it gets dark. Come on."

CHAPTER TWO: FUN TIMES

Lucy woke the next morning to her favorite smell, blueberry pancakes. "Lucy!" Amy called. "Breakfast time!" As Lucy ran down the stairs, she remembered something. "Amy we only have pancakes on special occasions. Why are we having them today?". "Because it is a special occasion!" Gramma said. "We're going to Disney!".

 "Yay!" Lucy said jumping into her chair and stuffing as much pancake in her mouth as possible. "Slow down! We still have to pack after breakfast!" Gramma said, laughing. "She knows." said Amy. "But we want to go as fast as possible!" as she said this she stuffed her head in her pancakes.". “You see," Lucy said lifting her head "this is one of the fun times we like to have!"

CHAPTER THREE THE TRAIN RIDE

" Can we explore the train?" Amy asked. "Yes you can, but I want to rest." Gramma replied as she, Amy, and Lucy bumped down to the back. Gramma opened the door.  Lucy just threw her bag on the floor, turned, and ran, Amy doing the same. "No running!" Gramma called after them but they just ran out of sight.

CHAPTER FOUR: WHAT'S GOING ON?

As Lucy and Amy ran, Lucy suddenly stopped, and said "Let's head to the front, maybe the engineer will let us watch him work.". So they ran toward the front.

On the way, Lucy and Amy got to a vestibule and Lucy looked down to the clear ground. "Somethings grabbing the train." She said. "Haha! You can't trick me this time!", Amy giggled. "No, there actually is!"....And there was.

CHAPTER FIVE: WHAT IS........

"It's a spider......it HAS to be." Amy said. "No it's not, but what is thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"Lucy didn't have time to do anything but scream, as a strange thing/animal grabbed her and Amy and pulled them off the train with a horrifying sccccreeech! She (or he ,they couldn't tell)dragged them to a pile of sticks and behind it was a bunch of the same creatures, and they were FLOATING!

CHAPTER FIVE:MAGIC

"These are the ones." the one carrying them said. "What does it mean when she says 'the ones'?" Amy whispered. "Don't know." was all Lucy was brave enough to say. "We are the changers. You are the magic leaders. Years ago, you were put in a spell and forgot everything, we fly but each of you have your own magic." the one holding them said. "Really?" now Lucy couldn't help but ask questions. "Yes. It's true."

 CHAPTER SIX: ANIMALS

"I am Shannon." the one holding Lily and Amy said." We each have one out of ten animals, Gazelle, Tiger, Wise Owl, Cheetah, Bear, Rabbit, Kangaroo, Eagle, Fox and the leader, Lion.". "Ok," said Amy. "What animal are you?". Shannon pulled back a hood revealing tiger ears. "I'm tiger." she said. Then a girl dropped to the ground, stepped closer and pulled back a black cloak, revealing arms with 5 blue feathers on each arm and owl ears. 

 "I am Natalie." she said. "I am the Wise Owl. Lucy, your special animal is a Pegasus. Amy you are a lady Faun." As she said this, she waved her wings over Lucy and Amy. Lucy's dress grew shorter and she grew wings and pony ears and Amy's short hair grew down, and her back flexed till she was half goat half girl. They were leaders again.

CHAPTER SEVEN: MYSTERIES

Lucy took a moment staring at herself then staring at Amy who now had a different body from, or maybe the same out of lost memory she couldn't decide. Then Shannon began to speak she said this: "We have a mystery and we need your help to solve it." Amy answered. "Lead the way!"

CHAPTER EIGHT: EYE

Shannon led them to a small cave while Natalie flew ahead to clear the area. On the way Shannon said, "Lucy, your power is that you can shape-shift into any animal and even mix them together. Amy you have the power of nature.". Soon they came to a spot where the wall had metal bars. "Why are there bars on the wall?" Amy asked. 

"If there wasn't, people would touch magic too strong for them." Natalie said landing next to them. Shannon removed the bars and revealed a picture of an eye. "Legend says it's a sign of great magic, but we don't know what kind of magic." Shannon said. Lucy was curious now. What kind of magic? she wondered. Lucy couldn't help herself. She reached out and touched the eye. The pink center grew and turned the eye all pink. The eyelashes lay and made the eye bigger. 

CHAPTER NINE: TROUBLED

The gem grew wings and popped into Lucy's hand. A gem.....with wings?"Is it supposed to have wings?" Amy asked Natalie. "I've never seen a gem with wings before." Natalie replied puzzled. "It's a key.". Now it was Shannon and Lucy's turn to be puzzled. "A key to where?" Lucy asked. "That I cannot say." Natalie said. "Maybe," Amy began "since it has wings....it goes to something that also has wings!" Lucy finished. Shannon had been thinking. 

 "I know what has wings." she said. "There’s a mountain that used to be our hide-out and when I went hiking. I found a cave just like this one with a picture of wings on it’s walls.". "How will we get there?" Lucy asked. Everyone stared at her and Amy pointed to Lucy's wings. "Oh! I forgot about my power." Lucy said and she shape-shifted into a Pegasus. Everyone hopped on her back and she flew off.

CHAPTER TEN: MORE STRANGE CLUES

As they flew to the mountain, a storm started to come. "This is a curse from whoever owns the key, I feel it.” Lucy said as she landed on a cloud and changed back. "We have to stay here for about a week." Shannon said. "What will we live in for that week?" Natalie asked. "It's a huge cloud, we're bound to find something."

 Lucy said. Amy rolled her eyes, made her hands like claws and lifted them up. Instantly vines, thorns and flower stems rushed forward into a mansion. Then a keyhole picture fell off a vine it had been in the cloud and the vine picked it up. Lucy put the key in the keyhole and a photograph appeared.

CHAPTER ELEVEN: THINKING

"Wow,” Lucy said as she looked the photograph. “See the book in the picture?” Natalie asked. “There's writing in it.". This is what it said:

Ah, I see you found my clues! Just because, I will give you a clue: my name is Jamie Alson. I love to READ. My favorite AUTHOR is C.S LEWIS. I have put this in clues because there are bad people after the magic that lies at the end of this....clue LINE.

"I don't get it," Amy said. "Where's the clue? And why are some words capital?". "The words were capital to give us a clue of where to go next." Natalie said. "Ok everyone," Lucy said. "What or where do we read? And where is an author named C.S Lewis? And where is something in line?".

"We could read anywhere." Amy said. "But Authors are at the library and you read there and bookshelves are in line!" Lucy said excitedly. "Great!" Amy said "Is there a library near here?" Shannon pointed down. "Look." she said. "Bucks county library." Natalie read. At that, Amy grew a beanstalk and climbed down. Natalie, Lucy and Shannon followed.

When they got to the library and walked inside, they looked around until Lucy pointed and said "Look! the author's corner!". As they walked to the author's corner Amy saw two perfectly straight bookcases. Lucy saw a metal box glinting in the lights in the library. In the box was a small red light with a piece of paper behind it.

As Lucy reached for the paper, a dome went over them like they were being sealed away from the world. Then the light grew longer and hotter until it was no longer a light, it was now a laser....multiplying. Now I know why that dome came. Lucy thought. To keep people from seeing the laser.

CHAPTER TWELVE: ESCAPING LASERS

"Duck!" Natalie said as she dodged a laser.  Shannon and Amy did the same, but Lucy ran.  She ran away from the lasers making them chase her while the others got the clue.

It didn't work. 

A laser almost sliced her leg leaving a bad burn and  pushing her on the ground.  Lucy moaned. 

Amy made a wall that held long enough for Amy to bandage Lucy's leg.  Lucy turned into an ant and crawled over to the clue.  She turned back just after a laser hit her.
