Hi I am Jeremy and I am going to be telling you about when my family moved to Canada. I am 11 years old and am originally from Miami Florida.



I am the youngest in my family my dad Is John my mom is Joanne my older brother is Jeremiah who is 17 and my older sister is Josephine who is 13. My family decided to move because my father got a new job. We packed everything up and loaded it all on trucks and drove to Canada.

When my parents told me we were  moving to Canada I didn't even know where Canada was at.  Once I saw where it was I was amazed how far we would have to travel. All I knew before I saw the picture was that is was above the United States and below the Arctic Ocean.

So we arrived in Canada, and we are living in the  West Edmonton Mall in Alberta Canada I forgot to mention my dad now owns the water park and hotel so that's where we will be living. Our address is 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta Canada room 125.

After we got all moved in and settled my family decided to go look around and sight see. Some really cool features I noticed in Canada were all the mountains including the Canadian Rockies .

I really enjoy to fish so we went and saw the longest river in Alberta the Jack fish River .

My mom was telling me how those were called physical characteristics and she said that Canada had human characteristics to including the famous CN Tower  and Canadian highways .

My mom has being applying for jobs now that we are all settled in she just got offered a job at Ford Motors of Canada and she had her first day at work today she was telling me how Canada ships out 1,000 of cars a month to the US and China she was also telling me how they get a lot of parts from the US to make the cars.

Today is my first day of school and my mom told me she would treat me to a treat before school so we went to Tim Hortons which is just like Starbucks but better. When I walked in it smelled so good and I was looking around and there was a big poster on the wall that said Timbits and I decided to read it and the are little donut balls that originally started in Canada and made it to the US and now they call them donut holes it was kind of cool how those ideas made it to where I used to live in Florida. I decided to give them a shot and boy they were the best tidbits I have ever had!
