My mom decided to go on a vacation to an island. Mom said “Hey everybody we are going to an island.” I ignored with the silent treatment because I was too busy doing something else. My sisters, Noa and Phy were excited and I was neutral.  After a few days we started packing our stuff to get ready for our vacation. Our vacation took place somewhere in the summer break. We got into our car with our family and friends who are considered a family member.

We drove to the dock, it was far away it took about 3 or 2 hours to get there.  I was listening to music and watching videos for the whole ride, we stopped at gas stations to get food and add fuel to the car. You may think that “how do you watch video without internet Adrian?” The answer to that is my mom brought a portable internet. It is really small so we have internet in the car, wifi all day except you need to charge it and add currency into it to make the wifi work longer. You may think there will be video games and theme parks and candy and everyone will be happy! But I shall deny you, that is not what the island has. Don’t be sad about that. It’s only just the beginning.

Once we reached the dock there were loads of cars and there were 2 ferries and both ferries could carry cars to take to the island. I asked my mom “ Are we going to the first island we have been to before mom?” she said “No Adrian, we are not”. I was bummed because I wanted to go to the first island.  The ferry ride was really short but island seemed far. The boat sloshing against the water so the boat kept rocking back and forth. Then I saw something in the distance. It was a boat but it did not look like a ferry. It looked weird because the whole body had a triangle shape. The inside of the triangle was transparent and it looked like it was gold colored. We ignored it.

We stayed in the car for the whole ferry ride. The water looked beautiful and it had the color of what it looked like as emerald green. After we arrived at the island dock, we started to go find the resort. It took very long about 10 or 20 minutes find it. I felt like we were scammed because we kept driving back and forth at the same place, until we finally found it. It was called Privacy Resort and we were the only ones who were renting the houses. Nobody else was there, except for the staff, we stayed for 3 days.
