It was a dark and scary night and Ashley, Hannah, Natalia, and Lexi were all at Natalia's house at a slumber party when all of a sudden they all got a mysterious message.

The message was from a unknown number. They tried to figure out who would send that message. They were so freaked out so they put their phones away and watched a scary movie and then, went to bed.

The next morning the girls ate breakfast and then went for a walk to the park by the house. They all talked about the message they received. After a while they all wanted to leave the park.

They started walking home and noticed a black van following behind them. Lexi screams "RUN" they all start running and the van gets faster. They are almost at Natalia's house when they realize the van is gone.

Chapter 2

The Stalker

After they got home Ashley, Lexi, and Hannah all got picked up. Whenever they all got home they all got another message from the unknown number. It said"if you dare, come to the wishing rock by the river at Park United at 6pm"

Lexi got the message first. She noticed something different with this message,it was signed with a letter J. Lexi called all her friends and told them. They thought maybe they should go to the rock. Natalia decided to open up her window because it was a nice night. Then, she noticed something in the trees.

It was a guy!She screamed and ran down stairs to tell her mom,but she wasn't there. So she walked back up stairs and heard a noise. She was so scared so, she went in the closet and grabbed a baseball bat. She walked across the hall and just then,her older brother Angelo popped out and scared her half to death.

She was really mad, but also relieved and she told him about the guy in the tree. At first he said she was being a big baby but when he looked for himself and there he was. Angelo went to call the police but soon as he got the phone the guy was gone.

Chapter 3

The Rock

Natalia's phone was going crazy with messages. She called her friends back and they were freaked out. They all decided to go to the rock but, Angelo insisted on coming with them.

When they got to the rock there was a note left there. Lexi read the note and it said"If you're reading this you listened to my first clue. My second clue is a riddle, if you figure it out it will lead you exactly to the destination. The riddle is,"This old one runs forever,but never moves at all.He has not lungs,nor throat,but still a mighty roaring call."
