I dedicate this book to all the little monsters...
BOO!

Once upon a time, in the friendly town of Bearville, there lived a peaceful family of bears. One day there was mass chaos throughout the town. Bears were running and hiding from a large beast seen not far from town.
The very brave protectors of Bearville, Owl, Hawk, and Falcon, were summoned to a town meeting to discuss how to destroy the large beast. Owl spoke first. He said,"I am the bravest of the birds, I will destroy the beast myself. No one needs to fear, for I am here!" Then from the crowd came the smallest brown bear name Beary. Beary said, "How about we leave food at the furthest places in the forest. That way the monster will be kept far from our town, and we will stay out of danger." The king agreed with Beary, and the protectors flew as fast as they could with as much food as they could to the furthest parts of the forest in hopes of saving the town.

Meanwhile, deep within the forest, the monster had discovered the food that the Bearville people had provided for him. He took one bite of an apple and roared in disgust. The monster roared, "yuck! An apple! What are they trying to do? Poison me?"

On the other side of the forest waited the good people of Bearville. The king was quite pleased. It had been an entire week since they had seen the terrible monster. He truly believed there plan was working and was hopeful that they were far from seeing him again anytime soon.
Until...
Suddenly, there was a loud crash coming from the Bearville wall. CRASH! Once again the town was in chaos at the site of the large monster who had now torn down their wall and was destroying the town.
The plan was no longer working. It was time for drastic measures. The bow and arrow bears prepared for battle. They drew back their arrows. But still the monster stomped forward. The bears new that the only way to save the town was to go with their Plan B, become a monster.
Quickly all of the bears in Bearville gathered. They grabbed all the mirrors they could find and made a giant mirror fit for a monster. Quietly the bears waited for the monsters arrival.
