Bobbi Blue and His friends on
Their First Adventure
By: Mikey Plautz

Hi kids,
My name is Bobbi Blue the blue crayon and
today I’m going to tell you an adventure
that my friends and I go on.
When crayons are born, they always have
that wonder of which home or school
they’re going to go to. My friends and I got
to go to a nice school where Mrs. Toni
picked us out for her 1st grade class.
Before I start telling you the story, let me
tell you all of my friend’s names.

My friend’s names are Rosey Red, Oliver
Orange, Yikes Yellow, Griffin Green, Pretty
Purple, Patty Pink, Bryan Brown, Beau Black,
Wacky White, and of course my name is Bobbi
Blue.
After my friends and I were born in the crayon
factory, we were shipped to a super store
where teachers go shopping every summer. My
friends and I were put together in a ten pack
box. Mrs. Toni went shopping on a breezy
evening a week before school started.

She walked in the door. When Mrs. Toni
came over by us she saw our package of
crayons and she said to herself, “This is the
box I need!” She took us over to the
register to purchase us. When my friends
and I heard we were getting bought we
were all delighted! Mrs. Toni took us to the
school where we were going to live. We
had to sit there in the classroom for a week
before we could get opened because school
didn’t start yet.

A week later when school started, we
finally got opened on the first day of
school. It was very overwhelming to my
friends and I because we had never see
these children before! Mrs. Toni also had an
art project that first day of school where
the kids had to draw their houses. So those
drawings could go up on the wall. All of
were very nervous. We had to figure out
which kids would use us the right way and
which kids wanted to break us. In ten
minutes we found out who those kids were
just by seeing their behavior.

The good girls and boys names were:
Lauren, Alex, Amber, Ben, Kara, and Erica.
The naughty boys and girl’s names were
Calvin, Josh, and Suzy.
Calvin, Josh, Suzy seemed like good kids at
first. Until we saw that they were just
being meant to the other classmates by
calling them bad names and telling the kids
that they were too short for their age
(which they were the perfect height!)

Calvin, Josh, and Suzy who were the kids
my friends and I were scared of and did not
want them to touch us. Being the colors
that we are, we knew we were going to get
uses by everybody in the class to draw
their homes. Right after we figure out who
were the good and bad kids were, Mrs. Toni
had the kids start drawing their homes.
