August 30th

Today went awesome, we got our schedules and apparently I got 3 classes with Jason, 1 with Maddie, and 2 with Alex. With 8 classes, it’s gonna be really hard not to goof off. Jason, Alex, and Maddie are my childhood best friends.

September 5th

First day was a breeze, we got our assignments and met our teachers. But while i was walking with Madison to 3rd period, the school officer asked if we had seen Jason, or Alex. Thing is, they weren’t here cause they were home sick. I told him we haven't seen them. He thanked us and let us be.

September 9th

Jason and Alex returned and were immediately escorted to the school officer. I thought he did something wrong when they both were sent home an hour early. I got told by the officer that they went to the construction site behind the middle school. Apparently, they got caught with a drug or something. I know them both very well and neither of them would have never done anything with drugs.

September 11th

It’s the weekend! I hung out with Alex at Jason’s house. Every time those 2 play video games, it’s a competition of Doom between them. Jason has never lost because he knows “Strategies” AKA nudging Alex hard in the side and scaring him. Later on, i questioned them about the school officer finding them at the construction site. They explained it wasn’t an drug but some sort of glowing crystal and how the officer had took it. Apparently, the power had gone out a hour later. We all went out to the fuse box and Jason tried to fix it but when he got close, he got shocked violently by the fuse box. We took him to the hospital and told them what happened.

September 12th

Jason turned out fine but they told us to keep him away from anything electronic. I decided helped him out after classes to finish his Earth's Core Model project for Pre-AP Science.

September 15th



Thursday was the worst. At lunch, Jason kept getting pelted by watermelon bits from people 3 tables away. Eventually the entire cafeteria joined in and it started a food fight. Jason was suspended for a 2 days for starting IT, even though he didn’t!

September 17th

Weekend! I stayed at Madison's for the night. We watched some movies before we decided to go to sleep. When we were about to hit the hay, we got a knock at the door. It was the school officer. He explained that Jason and Alex were at the construction site. We decided to go with him. He took us to the construction site and we found Jason and Alex there, and they had found 3 more of those crystals. So in total, we found 4 of them. The school officer let us take them and took us to Madison’s.

September 19th

We decided to investigate the crystals, so we took them to the Science lab after school. Apparently it was made of something that the Science teacher couldn’t understand. He said whatever it was, it wasn’t on the Periodic Table. Maddie decided to just use them as jewelry, even though Jason and Alex completely hated the idea. Maddie made all of hem into necklaces and I loved the little green one, so I wore it. Apparently, I almost immediately blacked out. When I woke up, Maddie told me that an cut on my arm disappeared after I blacked out. We called up Jason and Alex and told them what happened. They came over almost immediately and they

tried out the necklaces. When Alex put his on, the candle in my room flickered before growing largely and then going out. Then, when Jason put his on, the power went out. We all freaked out before we decided to check the fuse box. Before Jason could even flip a switch, he was given an electrical shock and the power was back on. We were all freaking out, until I realized that maybe the crystals gave us some sort of powers. I told Maddie to try hers and when she did, she was covered by a black smog. When the smog disappeared, she had 2 dark blades and a white masquerade mask on. We all started to realize we actually did have powers! Jason tried to understand what was happening when all of a sudden, electricity shot from his hand. We figured out what powers we had, but we decided to all head home and discuss it tomorrow at school.
