Divine Right was important because it would become a controversial topic that marked the begging of people questioning the authorities. This right was fought against because the people no longer believed a person could be appointed by god to lead.

As the common people became educated they were becoming more aware of the corruption of their authorities. People like Martin Luther spoke out against them creating revolutions taking many monarchs and institutions out of power.

The freedom and sometimes the absence of freedom to publish books about your ideas led to many controversial times. This was very evident when Martin Luther's Thesis was copied and distributed to the masses.

Many people in power such as the monarchs and popes would acquire gold and riches. Instead of using this for the benefit of the people many leaders got greedy. Many of them would be exposed and fall out of favor.

Heliocentric is important because it was a theory that was true but was not believed by anyone. This led to controversy and eventually it was proved and accepted. But that was only after a long battle.

Isaac Newton was an extremely important man in the understanding of our world. He came up with many theories that proved that man could begin to comprehend and measure the forces on our Earth.

This was important because the people that were once in power and abused it were brought to justice by the people. One kingdom's people taking action against their leader inspired others throughout the future.

This king got his reign cut short by a revolution that ended in him losing power. He is important because he represents a milestone for people rising up and taking control. The people took a huge risk and it payed off inspiring others.

is for Lavoisier

Antoine Lavoisier was important because he came up with new scientific theories. He impacted the development of our knowledge of biology and chemistry. He represents people's growing knowledge in discovering how the world works.

is for Monarchies

Monarchies are important because they were the governments that ruled over the people. They represented protection and control over people and this could be good or bad. They have funded many scientific discoveries and explorations.

is for Nobles

Nobles were important because they had political power. They were people that could directly take on the king. They sometimes helped revolutions that showed that people were not powerless.

is for William of Orange

William of the Orange assisted the rebellion against during the 80 years war. He commanded this rebellion and led them to victory and the advent of the Dutch Republic.

is for Political Power

Political Power is how you make a difference. If you didn't have any political power then you cannot convince the government to change. At this time political power represented richness and influence over nations.
