Hansel and Gretel

There once lived a family, Consisting of A father, A mother, Hansel and Gretel. The mother was very pretty and everyone in the family loved her. they were living happily for a while until...........

A witch arrived at their house and was very jealous of the mother. She was also pretty. so, she cast a spell on the mother and she turned into a very big tree.

hahaha! I will become his wife now....

The Father was very upset that his wife had disappeared and didn't know what happened to her or who did it. the witch came to him as a very beautiful woman and requested the man to marry her. He couldn't. he was too upset.

every day, the witch would try her hardest to help their family out. but hansel and Gretel were suspicious of her presence.

As several months passed the father soon fell in deep love with mrs black and he married her. But hansel and Gretel were still suspicious of her

after a few months, the family was running low on food and money. they only had a few pieces of bread every night. hansel and Gretel kept talking to their father about getting rid of 'mrs black' but he didn't listen. mrs black kept telling the father to get rid of the children because then they would have more food.

the father was brainwashed by the witch and the children went out of the house thinking that they were going for a picnic. but little did they know that what was going to happen was very different.

Come children. Let's go for a picnic!

Yay! We are going for a picnic!

that night, he went stone picking in case of an emergency.

Hansel was suspicious of her, so he brought some shiny stones and dropped them behind him as he walked. they finally came to a plain patch of land and sat there. but the witch had different plans.

oh no! I forgot the picnic mat. you kids sit right under that big tree while i go and get it. Stay right here okay?

hansel and Gretel sat there waiting, waiting, waiting... they are there until it was almost dusk. they knew she wasn't going to come back. hansel was confident that they were going to get back home safely. but Gretel wasn't.

hansel! how are we going to get back home? I'm scared.

don't worry Gretel. I put some stones on our way here. we'll find our way back home.

They started following the stone trail. they reached their house within minutes. the witch was angry. but the father was happy and soon got brainwashed again by the cunning witch because of the lack of food after a few days and what happened after that was..........

Ugh!

thank goodness you came back.

The witch realised hansel's trick and locked them up in a room for the night. the following morning they were going to go to the woods again. this time, hansel couldn't collect any stones and they were worrying all night.

What will do now hansel? you can't collect any stones now..........

don't worry Gretel. I have a plan.

the witch brought the children out and brought them into the forest. Hansel didn't get time to pick up stones in the morning either but he just managed to take a loaf of bread and he dropped crumbs of bread as he walked. the witch told them to drift off to sleep and they did, just not genuinely. when they were 'sleeping' mrs black slowly ran off back home. knowing Hansel's trick she followed the leftover crumbs back home. when they 'woke up' they immediately followed the bread crumbs and realised that the forest animals had eaten them all up.

Oops! I didn't think about that.

Boohoohoohoo!

hansel and Bretel were very worried. they stabbed in the dark and tried walking randomly in case they found they're home.

don't worry Gretel. let's try walking. we might find our home.

so they searched.......

and searched........

and finally arrived at a ginger bread house. it's door was made out of chocolate, its walls were made out of candy, everything was food! hansel and Gretel ran to it and started eating it. from inside the house, a sweet voice said.......

come inside children! you must be hungry.

they went inside and found a old woman who looked nice. but both the children knew that looks are deceiving. she offered them and they agreed without hesitation. she asked them to stay over for the night. they reluctantly agreed.

you children must hungry. come have a some food. i insist that you stay for the night, its getting dark outside.

ummm..... okay.

the children got comfortable in the old woman's house. but they were still suspicious of her but they just went to sleep.

do you think she is bad?

don't say that. be grateful. although even i do feel a bit suspicious of her behaviour.
