Once upon a time in a beautiful huge kingdom known as Athens,lived Theseus the Duke and Hippolyta the Queen of the Amazons.They had a wedding coming up.Theseus couldn't wait until the wedding he felt like it would take forever.

Egeus, father of Hermia wants her to marry Demetrius.He has already given permission to Demetrius to marry Hermia.But Hermia is in love with Lysander and she refuses to marry him.Her father gave her 2 choices if she turns down Demetrius, she could either die or become a nun.

Lysander and Hermia come up with a plan to runaway so she doesn't have to marry Demetrius.Helena comes in and starts complaining that Demetrius doesn't love her anymore.Hermia tells her that they are running away so she can have him.Helena decides to tell Demetrius about their plan.

Quince and his friends plan to make a play for Theseus wedding.They planned to perform "Lamentable".Bottom wanted to play all the characters in that story because he thought he was better than the rest of them.Everyone had a part for the play and they plan to meet in the forest to practice.

Oberon the king of the fairies and Titania the queen of her fairies are fighting because she stole a lovely boy from an Indian king but really its about their jealousy about them cheating on each other.She then notices his servant, Robin Goodfellow also known as Puck.Oberon's mischievous elf.Oberon wants the boy but Titania refuses to give him up.She wouldn't change him for anything.

Oberon wants revenge on Titania.In order to get the boy he must do something about it.So his plan is to order Puck and tell him to put the juice on her eyelids.Whenever she wakes up, whatever she sees that is alive she falls in love with.Demetrius and Helena walked in.They were arguing she told him that she was his spaniel and that she will keep following him.Oberon over heard everything so he asked Puck to get the juice from snakes and put it on Demetrius.

Instead of Puck putting the juice Demetrius he puts it on Lysander.He and Hermia are sleeping.He wakes up and the first thing he sees is Helena.He pledges his love to Helena now, but she doesn't believe him because a second ago he loved Hermia so much that he was going to marry her and now this.Helena was done with his non-sense so she left the room and Lysander followed.Hermia then wakes up from a nightmare and finds Lysander gone.In her nightmare there's was a snake eating her heart out.

Lamentable, the story of Pyramus and Thisbe.Bottom had to play one of them and in that role he must stab himself but he changes it so he won't.Puck did something terrible to Bottom that he doesn't even know what happened.Bottom has a head of an ass now all because of Puck.

Bottom enters the glade where Titania lies sleeping.She wakes up from the sound of his voice.Titania thinks she's in love with Bottom because he was singing to her.But really it was because Oberon put the juice on her eyelids.Titania commands the fairies to provide Bottom with whatever he wants and to treat him like if he was one of them.
