Chapter 1 - Intro to Sports
This semester we covered various sports: football, tennis, basketball, and soccer. For each sport, we first did two paragraphs on our experience. Then, we did some form of presentation. We used google slides, screencastify, and Video editor. For most of the project, except one, we worked in groups. Everyone did a section.
Chapter 2 - Football
For football, we made a Google slides presentation. We had to do research and add it to our presentation. We worked in a group of three.

Football: Basic Rules
a football team has 53 players and 11 players on the field. The game starts with a kickoff. Teams can substitute players between downs. Each player in a football game must have a uniform number between 1 and 99. The winner is obviously the team with the most points at the end.
Football Field
A football field is 100 yards long and 53 yards wide. The lines at the end are end lines. The lines on the sides are sidelines. The goal lines are 10 yards away from the end lines. There is a 50 yard line that divides the field. The end zones are at either ends. The goal posts are behind the end zones.

Offense
The offense is the team that has the possession of the ball. The offense is divided into two groups. Their job is to run and to make a touchdown, which is to take it in the end zone to score points.

Defense
The defence's main goal is to stop the offence from scoring points, by tackling the offence members. There are three different positions in defense area defense linemen, linebacker, and defensive backers. The defense tackles at the center of the defence line.

Points
There are many ways to get points. A touchdown is worth 6 points. An extra point is worth 1 point. A two point conversion is worth 2 points. Another way to get points is a field goal.

Favorite Team
I do not have a favorite american football team, but if I had to choose it would be the Raiders.

Chapter 3 - Tennis
For the tennis unit, we used a couple of video editing apps to create our video. For this project, we actually worked in a group of 5.

Tennis Court
A tennis court is 78 feet long. the width in singles is 27 feet and the width in doubles is 36 feet.

Tennis Swings
The three main swing are backhand, forehand, and overhand serve. A backhand is when you hit the ball with two hands, using your nondominant hand as the lead. A forehand is a swing with your dominant hand, using just one hand. An overhand is when you hit the ball when it is over your head.

Scoring
In Order to win a game you need to get 4 points. In order to win a set you have to get 6 points and be ahead by 2. There are two sets in a match and both of them have to be one, if not you have to do a tie breaker.

Chapter 4 - Basketball
For the basketball unit we had to make a google slides presentation and then use screencastify to narrate it. We worked on the project with a group of 5.
