Sir Galahad

Sir Lancelot, I bid you follow me and do not tarryMany years ago, back in the middle ages, a lady enter King Arthur's court looking for Sir Lancelot.
I will, lady.

When Sir Lancelot got there with the lady the lady told him to name Galahad
a knight and Sir Lancelot accepted her
plead and made the boy a knight.

Few days passed. All the knights were with Arthur at the round table, when
someone said they had saw a sword at
the lake. The sword said: Never shall be
drawn, save by the best knight in the
world. Then Lancelot and arthur had a
conversation.
Fair sir, this word by rights belongs to you.But Lancelot thought with shame his love for Guenevere.
Sire, the sword is not for me, not am I worthy to wear it by my
side. Bad luck will come for he
who tries to draw the sword if he
is unworthy. After they talked, King Arthur made some
knights tried the sword, no one could and
they went back to the castle.

After they returned to the table from the
lake, an old man brought Galahad to the
court and said he was Lancelot's son.
When they took the cloth of the Perilous
seat, the words said: this is the seat of
Galahad, the high prince. As Galahad sat
in the Perilous seat, Arthur knew he was a
knight that belonged in the round table.

After the meal, King Arthur took Galahad to the river to show
him the sword.
"Here is as great a wonder as I have ever seen", said King
Arthur, "Two brave knights have tried and failed to draw the
sword".
"Sire", replied Sir Galahad, "that is not surprising since the
adventures are not theirs but mine.
With that he pulled out the sword. He was the best knight of
the whole world.

The knights celebrated Sir Galahads great
achievement and after they went to the
meadow came back to the castle. While they
were in the round table the ghost of the holy
grail came into the court. Even though they
couldn't see what was in it everyone was
amazed. After the ghost was gone, Arthur
was the first one to brake the silence:

We shall thank the lordfor letting us watch that. Now,
bring me the holy grailso all the knights went to look for the grail.

All the knights looked everywhere in England for the grail, no one
saw it. Sir Galahad found one of his fellow knights in an abbey.
"There is a shield that can help a knight find the holy grail", said the
knight to Galahad,"Ill try tomorrow and if I don't come back in three
days, you shall try for yourself".
"I will", replied Sir Galahad.
When the other knight tried to put it on, the monk said that only the
greatest knight could wear it but the knight wanted to try it himself.
He rode off and in his way he found an other knight which said: You
shall go back and and give that shield to Sir Galahad. So the knight
did. When Sir Galahad put it on he made his way to the holy grail.
Sure thing, Sir Galahad was truly the best knight to walk on earth.

Sir Galahadbest knight on Earth.
