Nothing.what did you do in class today?Today I taught
the kids about
Biology!

If Mrs. Bubbles had used technology such as a
classroom blog, Nemo's mom would always be
able to see what her son is doing in class.
Because of technology, we parents can become
more involved and understand exactly what
their children are learning in class. Mrs.
Bubbles could also put some of the student's
work up on her blog so that all parents could
see exactly what their child is doing. Nemo
could also make a blog and talk to students and
peers around the world, allowing him to see
other peoples perspectives as well as what is
going on around the world.

Nemo has no social skills because he hides behind his computer all day
I can't talk to people face to face :(
All my students do is talk to each other online!
One thing that is very important to know about
technology, is when it is appropriate to use, and when
it is not appropriate. If we use technology for
everything, students, like Nemo, will not get the social
skills that they need to talk and interact with people
face to face. Without these social skills, students will
lack the ability make connections with people face to
face, and they are less likely to thrive in the real
world.

There are always going to be controversy and
issues surrounding technology in the classroom.
For example if Mrs. Bubbles constantly used
video games to teach her students, it would be
extremely difficult for them to learn a different
way when they had another teacher. However, if
Mrs. Bubbles used video games just to teach the
little fishies about the continents, it would be
extremely beneficial to her students. It is up to
Mrs. Bubbles to use the technology in the right
way in order to teach Nemo and his friends in a
way that will help them the most.

Technology is bad!
I like video games!
you are teaching our children video games?!
