Caitlyn is a cat a hopping cat in fact. She even had a pet of her own, Emily. She considered Emily her pet, even though she was Emily's. They both loved to go on adventures with each other. When Caitlyn was little of course. Now most days she just lies around taking naps on the couch.

Today was Emily's birthday Caitlyn was so excited. Because that meant lots of kids were coming over, and would give her attention. But then she thought to herself, " wait why am I excited about this children's grubby hands all over me." Just then she looked in the mirror. " I'm a kitten again, she exclaimed, How is this possible?"

" Oh Caitlyn come here you little kitty the guests are almost here, Emily called." She leaped into Emily's arms and almost flew right over her head. "Whoa how did you do that girly, Emily exclaimed, that was amazing!" Caitlyn felt amazing that was the first time she had jumped that high. I mean she had jumped before but never like that.

"Come on sweetie let's get you cleaned up before the party, said Emily." Most cats absolutely hated bath but not Caitlyn, she always loved getting clean. She was a little bit different than most kittens but Emily didn't mind she loved her just the way she was. And, she wouldn't change the way she was for the world.

"There We go you are now as fresh as a daisy , Emily said happily." " Well I cannot wait, her party is Hawaiian themed, Caitlyn thought to herself." "Aloha welcome to my party, Emily said to two of her friends."

"Kids it is time to come eat a Hawaiian feast for dinner, Emily's Grandma called from the kitchen." "We'll be right in Gram, Emily called." "Hey Emily what are we gonna do after dinner, Jack asked?" "Well as a matter-of-factly we are going to go swimming, Emily replied." "Em are we gonna swim before bed, alexis asked?" " Yeah, Emily said back."

"Wow thanks for the amazing dinner Mrs. Hammond, the children said." "You're welcome it was my pleasure to cook for you guys, Emily's Grandma replied." "Hey will guys come with me to the living room, Emily asked?" "Yeah, they replied."

" Well guys this is my pet kitten caitlyn she is the cutest thing in the world, Emily said." " She really is cute, Jack and Alexis said." "You know she is something special she is different, Emily said confidently." "You know Emily is very very fond of that cat she wouldn't want anything to happen to her, said her grandma."

That night when they were all sleeping a storm came through the country. It woke up Caitlyn and scared her. Then she went and tried to hide from the lightning in the living room. Then she got locked outside after this happened.

" Emily I am home are you guys asleep, Skylar asked?" "Huh Skylar you're home finally, Emily said happily." " Yeah I am home have you had a happy birthday so far, she asked?" "Of course I have what kind of person would I be if I didn't have an awesome birthday, Emily said." " Hey where's Caitlyn, Skylar asked?" "Let me go find her, Emily replied."
