I would think that her birth with me was no different than what her last birth experience was for her. She described my birth as "Fast and Furious"

She did have cravings, she loved tamarind and anything sour. She hated ramen and chocolate too. Its strange because I really enjoy those things now, but dislike sour things.

I was not born with my name, Melanie. I was actually born with the name Donnie, it was actually last year my parents and I decided to legally change it. The reason why I so desperately wanted a name change was because every where i went, i was assumed to be male. I've met at least 3 males with the name Donnie, trust me, it doesn't feel so great. Mind you, even when I let people know I legally changed it, people still like to call me Donnie, It kind of really bothers me
The reason they wanted me to be named Donnie, was because of my grandma. She lives in mexico, but comes and visits once in a while. In her "Pueblo" they have their own language. Im not sure what its called, but Dony, meant flower. At the time, my mother was already calling me Ashley and Hazel but claimed to be so happy and high off of meds, that she just went with whatever. As for my new name, My mother suggested it out of nowhere, and I liked the sound of it.
So I could've been an Ashley, or even Ibeth, if I was a boy (which they were 100% sure that's what I was) they would've named me Hazel. They wanted to be surprised and man... they sure were. Even my birth was a disappointment.

My Physical Development
My mom was in labor for 3-4 hours. My aunts have all been in labor for at least 10 hours, so she was surprised i popped out that soon compared to her sisters.

My birth weight was 7 pounds and 15 grams. I know, i know. i look not so cute. I was born with a head full of hair, just how my dad was.

My parents don't remember when my first tooth came in, I would guess around 5-7 months, because in some older pictures, I saw little white caps.
I started to walk when i was 10-11 months old. So my first steps were probably around 9-10 months or so. I was really eager to walk around everywhere I guess, apparently thats all I wanted to do.
I was officially potty trained by the age of 2. My younger sister actually learned at an earlier age than I did because as soon as I learned, I wanted to teach her how to. I would also let everyone know that I did my business by myself by making everyone come into the restroom and look into the bowl of my mini mickey mouse toilet.
I don't remember how old I was when I lost my first tooth, probably around 6-7 years old. I was in school, and I kept wiggling it around with my tongue, and then bam, it came out. I wasn't freaking out at that point, I was more excited to get a little tooth or treasure chest key chain to keep my tooth in.

Now that im comparing my development with the averages, I'm pretty much as average as one could get. Not much to me i guess.
My current vision in my left eye is pretty bad, I don't know exactly but I can barely see clearly out of it. On the other hand, my right eye is 20/20. I do have glasses, which I first got when I was in 5th grade.

Puberty: The time period where your body goes through changes which will traumatize you, but you have to live with them. Puberty happens sooner or later to everyone, not everybody has the same genes or hormones you have. It happened during 6th-7th grade for me.
Here's a picture of me, this was in 6th grade, I was at camp with some friends. Im cringing.
