My General Fact Sheet

Description of Pregnancy- I was my mom's first born and she said she was kind of nervous but she got through it.She said she described it as a long weird journey of cravings.My mom didn't have any complications besides the fact that i came 2 weeks early.

Why were you given your name? Because my dad really liked the name from Mariah Carey.

What were other names your parent’s were considering? My parents were stuck between Mariah and Nicole and obviously they chose mariah.

Make up and write a story about two friends (the same gender as you). One is an early bloomer and one is a late bloomer.  How are their experiences different, better, or worse? They're experiences are obviously gonna be different if they are either and early or later bloomer because they wouldn't be update with other kids their age.

My Physical Development

How long was your mother in labor? 15 hrs

birth and weight- i was 18 in and 7 pounds 7 oz

How old were you when your first tooth came in? 8 months

How old were you when you took your first step? 11 months

When were you officially potty trained? 24 months

When did you lose your first tooth? 6

I do not wear glasses

In your own words, define puberty.  Does puberty come at a fixed age for all?  I think puberty comes in at whatever time that persons body is ready everyone is very different so it varies for everyone.

My Language Development

When did you say your first word? 13 months

Why was this word the first you said? because i couldn't live without it

Were there any funny sounds, words, and/or phrases you used to use? Is so, what did these phrases mean? when my little brother was in my moms belly i called him peoples because i thought it was multiple.

Did you experience any language barriers during language formation (i.e. stuttering, lisp, etc.)?no

My Social-Emotional Development Who were you most attached to and why? my grandpa because i loved being outside with him

Were there any objects that you formed attachment with? my pacifier

In this picture I was about 1 years old and of course i was holding my pacifier and this was my favorite swing.

Cognitive Development

Tell a story about how you used to pretend play during the pre-operational phase of development. I was a very independent child in this stage i liked doing things on my own and playing by myself. I would play with my stuffed animals in my room alone while watching television.

How did your behavior at each of Piaget’s stages promote advancement to the next stage? In the sensorimotor stage i was a toddler and very independent as i got older through the pre-operational, concrete operational, formal operations i matured more and became also very self-determining.

My Personality Development

Look at Eric Erickson's stages of development.  Write a personal journal (one or two pages) explaining why stages #5 and #6 may be the most difficult hurdles to jump in life.

These stages are around the adolescence and young adult part of life and yes i believe they are a big part of life. They are the hardest part of life with high school popularity and ego and how you see yourself or having to make a decision that is going to effect our entire life and how we live for the rest of it is tough. High school can be very hard to go through because so many things can happen loss of friendships or break ups and its just horrible sometimes and deciding what we want to do with our lives is also hard to its a very big decision maybe even the biggest decision of some of our lives.

My Moral Development

How has your moral development been shaped by your parents? Yes as I've grown up my I've learned that i am a christian and have the same beliefs as my parents have taught me to have.

Have some of your morals diverged from theirs? Yes I've learned to believe the same thing they do because i grew up with it my whole life.

How would Kohlberg explain your moral development? He would explain my development from learning my moral beliefs in my house growing up with my family.
