Ruby Bridges believed that all people should be treated equal. It was not fair that Ruby Bridges had to be talked about in that type of way.

Ruby Bridges was a very smart girl, so smart that she was able to go to an all white school

The kids that Ruby went to school with did not like her at all. She tried to make friends with the students, but their parents said no.

One boy said "My mom said I cant be your friend cause your a NI**A".She said okay and walked away. She was not mad at what he said, but she did learn that you cant judge someone because of the color of their skin.
